I purchased a used C-12 drill package, with two NiCd batteries. One battery will not charge, the other last only a short work period, may be a hour
Are the batteries under any factory warrenty?

Battery info:
12 VDC
2.4 Ah
NiCd
T-Nr 492277
D73240 Wendlingen

Tom,

These batteries can be rebuilt.  Look on google for battery rebuilding.  This may be cheaper than buying new batteries from Festool.

Tom, to check warranty status, please contact our service department. Their number is below in my signature.

Also, C12 battery prices were reduced significantly in 2009. So you may be surprised that they are a better deal than a rebuilt battery.
