I need to cut the bottom edge off a wood/ foam core metal clad entry door. Is there a blade for my TS55 that will allow me to cleanly do this. If not does anyone have any other easy methods that work.

I'm not going to give blade advice.  I will offer general advice though.  Make sure that you wear safety glasses!  One of my two trips to have metal removed from my eyes was from just this type of work.  I now have a permanent rust spot.

The tools in my truck were talking the other day.  The Dewalts, PC's, Boschs, Makitas were not happy.  They also were in the minority.  Their complaint:  They felt unused and unappreciated since the Festools moved in.  I guess the truth hurts.

You could use your TS with a metal blade or you can buy this which fits onto the guide rail but uses a angle grinder.

Hi to help with the metal swarf flying around  I Use a sacrificial play on top of the door and cut from both sides if possible.

If its a one off and you can't get a specific blade just use a smaller blade with the same bore just adjust the speed accordingly 

I got some metal stuck in my eye last year from grinding and had to get it scraped out, It was then that I found out that I'm immune to the anesthetic they were using. (my wife  nearly wet herself laughing at me squirming) Safety goggles are a must when working
