Need a Surfix part number
« on: January 11, 2017, 12:03 PM »
I am looking for a part number so I can order the metal can with the flip top lid for my Surfix system.  The reason I need to replace the can is that after having left the yellow applicator pad stored in the can for a year or so, the yellow part of the pad assembly turned to a rubbery, mushy goo that I can't remove from the bottom of the can.

I did go on the Festool website, but the can was not listed as a replacement item to purchase.

Please advise, Festool guys!

Thanks,
David

I'm working on finding an answer for this one. On first glance, I'm struggling to find it in our spare parts catalog. Hang tight.

Thanks Tyler!

Appreciate your efforts and time.  Yes, I learned my lesson with this one.  Throw the yellow pad away after each job.  It seems the oil breaks down the yellow part after time.

No problem...
