This question might have been asked so sorry, but can someone tell me how long it takes to receive a purchased recon tool. Is it a slow process? Thanks

Takes about a week also to the DC area.  I last ordered on 8/14/2018 and it was delivered on 8/20/2018.

Thanks. I was starting to worry as I sent them two e-mails with no response. I ordered the EB2200 Router. I have never ordered reco, and I am hoping I did not make a mistake. I always buy new but I thought based on no complaints I would take a chance. I ordered May 5, I will give a few more days. Thanks again.

Not sure why, but Festool doesn't send an email notification for shipment including a tracking number. I found out when UPS sent me a pending delivery status. You can sign up on the UPS website and it will alert you to packages. Doing so allowed me to hold the package for pickup as I was out of town at delivery time. Festool should be sending tracking numbers!

The two recon tools I have purchased had to be surveyed carefully to find usage marks/dust. They were in excellent condition, but one sander needed electronic repairs immediately, which was handled in a good customer service fashion.

I purchased a vac-sys, OF2200, CXS and RAS 115 recon.  The CXS and RAS you couldn't tell were not new.  The OF2200 was in perfect condition, but the baseplate was one of the ones that came with the accessory kit and not the proper one that came with the router.  The VAC sys had a dented systainer (I think shipping damage).  Once notified, Festool USA made everything right quickly.

I got mine after it was processed and a UPS tracking number was issued.

I ordered the Domino 700. Didnt hear anything for about a week. I called frstool service an they told me they were running a bit behind. that same day I recieved a tracking number and a notice it was shipped. I should get it this Friday .

Okay, I received it today. The box looked okay. At first the handle looked too be broke. But I was able to fix. The router seemed to be clean and unused. I plugged it in and it turn on. The springs seem to make a little noise. This could be a normal sound. I don’t have a job for it yet. I will need to build something with it. Now I will need a kit to also go with it. With out using it I would say it looks new. Once I get to use it I will redo a review. Thanks for everyone’s help,
