Sanding Disc Sets
« on: March 19, 2018, 06:10 PM »
Hi,

I noticed that in Canada, Festool sells sanding disc sets (sandpaper in a Systainer) for a range of sanders.  For example:

http://www.leevalley.com/en/festool/page.aspx?p=69495&cat=5,105

https://festoolshop.ca/497687GRKit

Why isn't this available in the US?  I was told they can't ship this to the US.

Thanks.

It may be that these dealers make these up themselves and put them in the Systainer.

I bought one from Lee Valley and had a Canadian friend send it to me, there are ways around it ...

I can confirm that Festool does not make abrasives kits/sets. The dealers must be making these themselves. There's no discount on pricing versus just buying the 10-packs yourself and the corresponding Systainer.
