Thanks for the update Bob...

With that being said, when can those of us still in the dark expect to hear something?

Gary,

 By tomorrow.

So I get home from work about an hour ago, sitting in my recliner relaxing for about 5 minutes.  Then the wife says "don't you want to put your slippers on babe?".
I thought to myself "why does she care if I put my slippers on?"  I told her, "No I'm gonna head out to the shop and tool around in a little bit."
So she said something like "it's cold out their, are you sure you want to head out there? Put your slippers on and start in for a while."
So now Im real suspicious and asked her "why do you want me to but my slippers on so badly?"
Her response to me was "JUST PUT YOUR FREAKIN' SLIPPERS ON ALREADY!!"
So I look over to the front door and WHAT?!!!
A FESTOOL BOX SITTING BY THE FRONT DOOR!!!  and my recon tools where inside!  was not expecting them until maybe friday at the earlies!
A big thanks to everyone at the festool office!  Looks like I  need to buy some dominos this weekend and a new planer knife!  Hard to believe I was able to get what I got at what I think was a great price.    I guess this feeling that I have was that of me as a 5 year old on christmas morning.  Can remember the last time I got that excited over a box sitting by the front door.

Jeff,

It's my understanding that they are roughly a day behind on orders. Check with your dealer if you've placed an order earlier than that to see if they've received an update from us.

PS - The ladies in Sales are working another weekend.

  They deserve overtime and more.

Having said that, I don't see people asking about their tool status as whiners. I'd be asking the same question if I were in their shoes. Actually, considering the wait, they have been pretty patient. Luckily, all those outstanding orders should be accounted for in a day or too.

My TS55 arrived last week and got some use this weekend.  Looking back, I should of just purchased the 55 instead of the 75.  My 75 will now be reserved for the MFT and cutting down thick lumber and doors.  I went back to take a look for a reconditioned MFT800 to put inbetween my 1080's but they were already sold out.  Boy that was fast!  I hope we don't have to wait several years to see this event happen again.  Festool was wise to wait until February to clear this stuff out . . . the credits cards should be paid off from the holidays  Eek!
