« on: October 02, 2017, 09:38 PM »
Is it M14x1? M14x1.5? M14 x 2?

Thanks.

I don't own a RAS so I can't check, but I believe Euro M14 grinders usually use M14x2 threads, and I doubt Festool would have diverged from that.

My RAS 115 manual does not say other than M14 "standard" which for grinders is "coarse M14x2".
My Bosch pads fit, as do my FixTec fast chuck.

Festool:  CS 50EB precisio set, Domino DF500, DF XL 700, OFK500 edge router, OF1010 router EHL65 planer, CTL Mini/Midi Vac, CTL 26 vac MFT800+1080 tables
DSC-AG Grinder,  RAS 115
Rotex 150, ETS EC 150/5 RTS400
Drills: T18, BHC18, CXS.
SysLite KAL II, SYS Rock.
Sys- and Sortainers galore.

Line up has been reduced with the introduction of Mafell/Metabo tools. Red Green and Blue do mix well in the shop.

I have an RAS 115 and can measure the thread pitch for you this evening if you still need it after the two above posts.  I'll post it anyway since it's one more 'sticky' for the rare RAS 115 that we can save here on FOG as needed info.
UPDATE- yes, 2.0mm thread pitch... taking my old pad off to measure the tool’s shaft was a good excuse to swap out with a new pad.  [cool]
