Those fence clamps look like they would work with the mft3 fence. Any more info?

I was in touch with RUWI earlier today as I was keen to see the price of their current system, quite expensive at €352,24:

Now that I have seen the dog hole mounting I'm going to wait until they are released.

We are currently on the HOLZ-HANDWERK in Germany and we are just releasing our new clamping system.

This exhibition is a good opportunity to us to get a feeling for the needs of our customer. So far, the response is really good, and our engineering team is encouraged and got already some new ideas. But currently we are in the beginning of the production and about to figure out how to distribute these products.

I would like to come back to you when I know more.

@grayedout
Did RUWI give you an idea of a release date ?

Nothing like a company making a video of products that it does not sell. At least Festool will put them on the web page with a product number and a price. Whether they will ship to your country is another thing.

Looks similar to a project I'm working on for use on my new Felder FAT300 and sawhorses.  I wanted it to be modular and portable so I could use on the Felder at home and on sawhorses when traveling to do projects for the kids.  Going to get the tops CNC'd like an MFT.  Anyone out there who can recommend someone to do the CNC'ing .. let me know.

Here's the search page for 100k Garages. Put in the zip code and select CNC router for Tool Type and search.

Can you tell me/us more about the black rubbery surface on your wood please? Link? Thanks!

Another option is to purchase the Parf Guide setup and just make your own tops. Seems well rated by folks. You can research more on FOG. Peter Parfitt the inventor is on here too.

@TrackTubesGuy Those sawhorses look interesting. Do you have some kind of I-beam slotted into the top of them?

The sawhorses are just cut out of a single piece of 5' x 5' baltic birch ... either 1/2" or 5/8" works good.  They just have notches cut in them to accept a 2 x 4 or other 1 1/2" wide support and are connected with hinges.  They are light and fold flat, so good to take with me when traveling.

The panels I use are made by NUDO (nudo.com).  It's the same stuff that many cargo trailer manufacturers use for flooring.  It is actually a thin layer of HDPE laminated to Marine Grade Plywood.  I like it because it is flat, stable, water resistant and cuts/drills clean. I used it on a DIY bedslide I built for my truck and liked it so much I now use it instead of Baltic Birch for most my garage, shop,  and trailer storage builds.

I believe that @TrackTubesGuy is referring to NuPoly QuadFloor.

I wonder how the stuff would work for a MFT top? HDPE wipes clean, no glue sticks to it, clean it with thinner or common solvents.

The RUWI Systainer was being demonstrated in the Mafell booth at Holz-Handwerk.
The price probably won't be any better, but at least it should be more reasonably accessible to the general public.   It would be very nice if Festool picked up the MFT version for their line.

I am having incredible experience in ordering direct from Germany. Shipping is extremely reasonable, and the service is second to none.
