Let me start by saying I have benefited greatly from the insight provided by the members of this forum. I just recently registered to FOG as I Just started the transition to Festool from various other tool manufacturers. I'm a starting out remodeler still sorting out my workflow and organization. I've come to the conclusion that Festool works best for me as a platform. While the Bosch track saw is great (basically a stripped down Mafell using the same rails), and it wouldn't hurt to have both a TSC 55 and the Bosch, the reality is Festool is not cheap and I have a lot more tools that need to be replaced.

I figured most members already have a Festool track saw and wouldn't be interested in buying another, but might be interested in trading a Festool that don't really use or is simply overly redundant for them.

I'm located in Fairfield County, Connecticut.

This package includes the GKT 55 GCE plunge saw, 2 x 1,600mm guide rails, connector and guide rail storage bag.
This package is all about fast and easy cutting with precision and accuracy, the 2 rails allows for cutting upto 3 metres. Cut panels to size, doors to length and trim kitchen worktops. Plunge into the work for cut-outs like sinks, you can use with the rail or without, setting the saw depth with a clever indicator - so no guessing. The powerful motor has constant electronics and variable speed ensuring a clean, even cut. A single pivot point for the blade makes sure bevel cuts can be set. Bevelling to -1°, a slight undercut can be made and to +47° on the front scale. Cutting 29mm from a wall or upright. Blades can be easily changed with the quick lock mechanism. Highly effective dust extraction ensures that almost 90% can be collected by a dust extractor. The 1,600mm guide rails are fitted with anti-slip resistant strips and a splinter guard, both of which are replaceable, the rail can also be clamped in place if required using the rail clamps (available separately). The saw fits perfectly to the rail and is also compatible with Festool and Mafell guide rails. Rail joiner is a broad plate that holds the rails firmly together. The rail bag is padded to keep your rails safe and has a carry strap.
