What type of input are you looking for? Do you not use these?

PM me if you have a number in mind that you don't want to post

Mint condition 80% of new cost. Less than mint, it depends, no less than 60-65% of new cost unless totally trashed.
I sold a lot of Festools here for 80%, probably more than anyone but a dealer.

Bob,
If you like a tool, just order new T-locs and put the old systainer insert in the new T-loc. It takes a few minutes of snipping and the old insert fits nicely in most cases.
Regards,
Dan.

Yep, that's what I did. I changed over every old systainer except the Rotex anniversary systainer with watch, which I have kept brand new.

Maybe those guys making the knock-off Festool tee-shirts on eBay can come up with a "new tool" spritzer... spray the tool, close the Systainer. Next day, new tool! They could add it to Armor All for someone

You may not be able to get as much as you'd like for the T15 or maybe the jigsaw too. There is a nice discount on T15s now and the new version coming out in a few days.

Thanks for all the help. I think I'll put some pictures and prices on them and go from there.
Paul, we all can hope that the spray will be made very soon.

If I had Festools for sale (Lie Nielsen & other high end tools for that matter) I would post them on e-bay. They usually sell at remarkably high prices on there. I've seen Lie Nielsen tools go higher than new if you figure in the shipping. Why, why, WHY??? I guess people get swept up in the bidding wars.

Ron, aside from bidding wars and not wanting the significant other to know you've been to the local tool store again, I've heard the following logic. Many people pay list price for the their L-N tools, then have to pay 8-10% for sales tax and maybe even pay to get them shipped, so the tools "costs" list price plus perhaps 15-20% when new. Since these eBay L-N tools are often in near-new condition, any price lower than 120% is a bargain. Many of us get good-customer discounts at our favorite sellers, live in sales-tax-free (NO VAT) states, such as Oregon, and can either pick up the tools locally or get them shipped for free. For us, any price over 85% of list price is more than the price of a new tool. 85% of list price vs. 120% can be real money. Therefore I can't afford to buy L-N on eBay. It all depends on your perspective as to what is the actual gross sales price. Gary

I had no issue selling Festools all here and a lot of them, plus I made more money not having to pay for the ebay fees.
Yes, ebay works though.
