Performax Supermax 37x2 Double Drum Sander
« on: August 23, 2017, 08:42 PM »
I have a Performax Supermax 37x2 Double Drum sander for sale. It is used but is in overall good condition. It has a single phase 5 hp Leeson Motor and the intellisand drive belt technology. I have lots of sandpaper for this sander that will come with it. I can get an exact count, but likely enough for 20 fresh rolls in varying grits. I made a new drum cover out of plywood and upgraded it with 3 5" dust ports in place of the 2 4" ports on the original steel cover. I do still have the original cover that will come with it. This has been a great sander for me. It was in the cabinet shop where I used to work and I ended up with it when they upgraded to a wide belt sander. Now I am going up to a wide belt sander myself and am ready to part ways with it. It has been very accurate, and no major issues to speak of. I have been using this sander in my shop and the shop before for over 7 years. It is just time for a new home. I will attach pictures as soon as I can. I also have a shop made holder for the multiple rolls of paper that fits nicely below the machine that will come with it.

$3400 with all the paper I have for it.
