5m 27mm hose inside a Sys2
« on: July 25, 2018, 05:24 PM »
Does the new, flexible 5m 27mm hose fit inside of a Sys2?  Wondering if it does so that I could carry it inside my Hybrid MFT Ct-Sys: http://festoolownersgroup.com/festool-jigs-tool-enhancements/ct-sys-sys-mft/

Thanks

That would be a coil with 5 turns. I don't see how that is gonna fit nicely.

The cleaning sets with hose (3.5m 36mm) were sold in a Systainer 4! Last time I checked 27mm 5m was considered equal in needed storage space (e.g. in the garage on top of the CT).

Don't think so Ed.  I have the new style hose in my MFT CT-SYS - II (same as your mod). And though it is easier to put it in, it would be difficult to get another 2m to fit.  Maybe  by carefully coiling into the open center but probably not. Might work in a SYS - III, but would probably still take up the extra storage space.
