In europe 20mm bits are easy to find, in your case for the States i can't help you but luckely Boatman has already jumped in on that.
Maybe your festool dealer can get them for you, but routing such holes by only plunging pretty much ruins the bit which is supposed to make dado cuts really. So i wouldn't go with an expensive one, unless you can find a spiral cutting bit.

i thought i'd show how it has evolved, i invested in the LR 32 system and a small edge bander so during the holidays i tested it all out by building some melamine wall storage cabinets.

The center cabinet is very shallow so it doesn't get in the way of working on the table, it's used for storing router and drill bits. I made the holes for the router bits with the LR 32 aswell.
theres also storage for clamps and tool wrenches.

Very smart! I like how the Bosch router base has been relegated to the top shelf!

Discovered this thread today. Great workbenches! Timtool, I really like the dog and domino holes in the vertical stiles. Very nice feature! Next upgrade could be to make the vertical support legs adjustable so you can raise the work piece to the exact height of the worktop for routing applications and so on. A simple solution could be two t-tracks and two Festool clamps with the work piece (door fx.) resting on the back of the clamp.

Actually, come to think of it there seems to be enough room for the clamp to be angled a bit in the domino holes in the side and that might just be enough to catch the vertical work piece and clamp it down.

Woodguy, i don't have any close ups of the edge banding but it turned out fairly ok, the problem is that even with my scoring blade i get an occasional chip that would be unacceptable on customer projects. In the future i will cut 2mm to big and trim it on the shaper.

Peter thats a very nice workbench, an interesting hybrid between mine and a more classical one.

Kristian, it would indeed be very handy if i could extend support arms outwards that were flush with the top in order to do through routing or sawing over an open area. I already thought of it and i think it's best to make support arms that attach to the table with a set of dominos that hold into the slots on the sides of the vertical beams. Sounds more complicated than it is, but ill post pics when i make it!

The tracks come from a normal hardware store, they are meant to be used for curtains. they are cheap, but also thinner than woodworking tracks. If you make sure to place them absolutely flush with the surface then you risk no problems.

Nice shop Tim, say how large is it? As Im heading across the pond Im wondering how big a shop (probably a 1 or 2 car garage) will be. Im bronging my festools so I can still relax a get some woodworking time in. Plus some tool buying for some NAINA stuff.
