Just to note the link is for Classic Systainers.
[NOTE: Tools from other manufacturers are of course available. As this is the Festool Owners Group, I tend to limit my advice to the tools that Festool sell, and assume that you've come to this site to get advice on Festool tools and because the level of skill and experience of the community here outstrips most you'll find elsewhere. Still some systainers missing:
- SYS-Micro (Festool & Tanos), no dimensions available
- SYS-Mini (Festool & Tanos)
- SYS-Midi 2 (only Tanos)
- SYS-Midi 3 (Festool & Tanos)
Maybe the Festools are NAINA and that's why Shane forgot about them, but the FOG is more international these days.
Tanos Midi 2 & 3 are available from Lee Valley though.

You'll need to add 7mm to the height of a T-Loc Systainer if you want to take the "feet" into account. The sizes given exclude the feet that are "hidden" when Systainers are stacked.

The Midis are great!  ;D.  I use five of the IIIs and five of the IIs, all of which I purchased from Lee Valley.

That's a bummer, my wife would like some systainers for her sewing machine and surger and other items.
Looks like nothing will fit her Juki sewing machine,  it's a shame  [unsure]  I would love to share the cool-ade.. [big grin]

Since I'm in the USA I wanted to see dimension in inches, so I put together a spreadsheet that includes dimensions in both mm and inches.  I figured I would share.  I think I got everything included and noted properly.

Just sharing this for future reference. The thread will be pinned.

Classic:

T-LOC:
http://www.t-loc.de/002/En/Home/Product_overview/systainer.html

Hello fellow Systainer enthusiasts.

I was searching for these Systainer dimensions and I remembered seeing this sticky-post ... so here I am.

It's probably inevitable that web-links break over time, and I see that the OP's original link for the T-LOC dimensions has 'moved'.  So here's an updated link:

T-LOC and Classic dimensions:
http://www.tanos.de/007/En/HOME/PRODUCT_AREAS/systainer/Dimensions.html

Happily the OP's embedded (page-captured) images above are still relevant  [smile]

The OP's link for the Classic Systainers has also broken [Edit]but I can't find a comparable updated page showing all the dimensions together on the Tanos or Festool sites for those still-hugely-relevant earlier-style boxes.  Can anyone else help with a revised link for the full set of the 'Classic' dimensions?[/Edit]

[Edit ...] Oooops! Silly me!  I see that ALL the dimensions are offered on that same (revised) page - the T-LOC and the Classic dimensions!!

All the best,
Colin P.

Here you go for the Classics .... with drawings.

Seth

Ah! That's excellent additional info' Seth. Thank you.

I'm actually aiming to buy one of these Classic Systainers because of their deeper drawers ...

SORTAINER SYS 3-SORT-4
http://www.powertool-supplies.co.uk/festool-sortainer-sys-3-sort-4.html

The 'older' drawers are 85mm deep compared to those on my already-full pair of SYS 4 TL-SORT-3's - which are 69mm deep ... or 70mm at a squeeze.

Actually, I'm hoping that Nuts & Bolts can obtain for me, one of these two-drawer 'variants' of that Classic Sortainer:

232448-1
Drawer - systainer® IV
http://produktprogramm.tanos.de/index.asp?idart=90&idcat=13

but I don't see that two-drawer version on offer anywhere else, except on the German Tanos website!

Colin P.

(Whew! Getting those attachments inserted was hard work!)

Does anyone know the drawer size on the new Drawer/systainer, is it the same size as the large drawer on the sortainer?   I would like to upgrade, but the items I store just fit in height in the sortainer drawer.
Thank you for any clues in the size.
a fair line always supersedes a given measurement.

This probably won't help Kolin but, Lee Valley carries the 2 deep drawer, five drawer sortainer.  I bought to keep my M12 Milwakee tool assortment and it works great.  I have two of the four drawer versions where I keep my pinners, brad nailers and staplers.

I know you asked the question a while ago, but if you're still looking for that elusive Sortainer @KolinP then you might want to review the below thread...

Thank you Garry!!  And thank you @rst

I had seen and remembered that post but I hadn't saved a link to it!!  I love the idea of swopping and re-assembling the parts of these Systainers / Sortainers, even if it's usually a difficult thing to do.  I'm up for that challenge.

My main hurdle is locating a European supplier of these Sortainers who will agree to send one or two of them to me here in UK, then negotiating the postage & packing costs, then the probable Customs delay, plus a Customs duty payment ... and I haven't convinced myself yet that it's all worthwhile, (just) to get hold of an empty Sortainer!  I'm still prevaricating ...

But thank you again  [smile]
