I'll bet the first tool he needs is in the bottom systainer, or that he'll need to change vacuum bags. ;)

Sure but the T-Loc feature allows the bottom one to be opened without unstacking  [eek]

40 big systainers and 7 or 8 mini's. Well, it's official, he's got more than me.

He has a lot of faith in the stability of the stack putting the CTL-SYS that high up.

I bet Kev's stack is higher though.

I've got 92 at current count but there isn't a chance in Hades of me stacking them that high.   [eek]

Imagine the cost of the the damage if that stack fell over...

Seems like a pretty foolish endeavor to me.

Here is a pic I took few years ago.  I've added quite a few.  Plus I didn't even use vacs to set them on.

I was gonna say -- there's no way the CT plastic housing wouldn't crack under that kind of weight.

I'm sure they are empty. It's ~70 kg just empty weight.

Yeah, why so many guitars, and what types?

I have 3 guitars, an electric, a classic and a western guitar. Just bought the western (Aria) for €55 and been playing the heck out of it, love it. Wish I could get a Taylor or Martin, but they're out of my league right now.

@Vondawg @Alex

Sad to say I'm probably the worst person in the world at guitar .. I just love something about them. I'm a lefty, everyone else in the family are righties - so I find excuses to buy anything I could possibly (at some magical distant point in the future) play myself, or anything the kids could play.

Prominent there on the left are the cases of 4 custom made Cole Clark electric acoustics .. the stack towards the right are various Fenders. There are many more. Once we're settled somewhere with a bit of space I'll get them out and share some pics.

I get very excited when people visit and have an ounce of skill, as I'm elated when any of them get played in a way that sounds at least half decent [embarassed] [smile]

I recently got rid of a Kurt Cobain Jaguar replica ... it was honestly horrible.  I keep those I really like. I do have a lot of very nice stuff, but I honestly think the sweetest sound comes from a Yamaha acoustic that's worth less than $1K AUD.

Thanks....I was just wondering, after all you are from the land of Tommy Emmanuel (and down under of course). I jockey around with 3 Taylor acoustics and a walnut telecaster...

@Vondawg you CANNOT say Walnut Telecaster without offering up a photo [eek] [mad] [big grin]

Also need year, detail of pickups, etc. Yeh - guitar techno nerd syndrome (GTNS).

Interesting thread!

I thought I had a few Systainers too many - turns out I am just half way down that sink hole...  [blink]

...now whenever someone comments on my abundance of Systainers I can point them in the direction of this thread and tell them, "nah, I don't have THAT many..."  [big grin]

In that big stack are those 7 planex systainers I count and why do they look like t-locks instead of classics? I thought they didn’t make those in t-lock?
