Can't cut a circle with ps300 and circle cutter.

I have the PS300 and the 490118 circle cutter and I can"t cut a good circle. I'm using the scroll type blade 486563 and no progressive orbital mode. I have to put the pin in the 200 hole to get close to a circle. The 300 hole wants to go straight and sparks fly. Can someone please help. A video would be great.

It's been 4 years since I cut a circle with the setup you described so I may be a little rusty.
I had problems at first too, then I studied up on the blade offerings. I tried a S75/4 FSG (486 551) which is designed for curving cuts and everything was fine.

I was using the recommended blade but It didn't work. It makes since to use a Trion blade because the other problem is I cant get a 90 deg cut. Thanks for the reply.

Sparks? Are your guide blocks tensioned too tight?

Guide blocks seem to be OK. The blade wants to flex away from center causing the sparks and not a 90 deg cut. I got the pin in the correct hole using a Bosch blade. It cuts a nice circle now but not a 90. I am going to try and get a Trion blade next.
