There was a speech bubble just as you knelt down but it was black type on a navy background so you can't read it.

as soon as I saw the pants in part 6 I did a google search and had to find them. Love the concept and hate wearing a tool belt. I'm so glad you posted the brand name in the video, saved me a lot of head ache! keep the video's rockin'!!

Kreg,
I've been having that same problem with the Kreg (any relation?) pocket hole clamp. It seems to be clamped in good, then just releases. I'm always worried about over-tightening it due what I perceive as a "short grain" situation when it's putting that much pressure just on the pocket.

Fritter, there's no relation, but here's how it all came about.
Craig Sommerfeld was driving through Huntersville, North Carolina in search of more beadboard. He came across a guy in his truck, getting jiggy to some loud Springsteen he was playing. He found the man very interesting, especially with the beadboard paneling adhered to the entire truck body. He went up to him and introduced himself as a carpenter and tool maker only to find this rockin and rollin guy was also a carpenter named Kreg McMahon. They struck up a long conversation and deal that Craig would make this jig, use Kreg's name and pay him nothing, however he would buy Kreg a newer 8-track player for his truck.
The End.
*And before you guys say, "Who drives through North Carolina looking for beadboard?" It's possible.

Loving this series, thanks for posting! I would have liked to see you talk about scribing your top and fluted pieces to the wall I'm loving this series too. There is a cabinet installer here who has a great way of scribing to walls, but he is shy. I will tell you this, when he described his method to Brian in a training class, Brian was looking around and wiggling like he does when he gets excited.  Just like I would pay to go to Festool classes, I would pay to watch him install cabinets. This was not meant to take away from Kreg. I love Kreg. Would love him more if I had autographed beadboard though.  Peter |

Maybe I missed it, but how do you attach the beadboard on the uppers - to the cabinet back or to the wall? Is it sheet beadboard or the individual tounge-and-groove boards that you use?

Hey Kreg,
This series is awesome!!! I love all of the how-to and it is great to see how you do certain operations. I have never routed a round over vertical like you did -- I usually clamp the piece horizontally.
One of the things I think I am enjoying most is just the raw footage -- it's kind of refreshing seeing things that would be edited out of a TV show and I appreciate seeing how you deal with certain issues like the clamps that loosen up on you. You love what you do and this comes through loud and clear in the videos, making them even more fun to watch.
Great job on all of this...I would like to see you install the actual cabinet and I am not sure if you have any footage of scribing the cabinets to the wall or if you had to do that in this installation.

Hi Kreg, thanks for the video series. it has been great - I picked up a few tricks.
But I did notice in part 6a where the drill bit fell of after you drilled a pocket hole from the festool drill. I did read somewhere before that this was an issue with some versions of the normal chuck. Do you or anyone else know if that was fixed in any of the later T12 or T15 drills. Reason I ask is that I am either looking to purchase one of the closeout C12s or possibly a T series and wanted to make sure that I had no regrets later on.

UPDATE THE FINAL VIDEO ON DOORS AND INSTALLING THE FACE FRAME WILL BE STARTED THIS COMING WEEK AND THE CUSTOMER WILL BE BACK FROM THEIR TRIP on THE 13 SO I CAN DO THE FINAL INSTALL OF THE DOORS AND FACE FRAME TO FINILAZE THIS SERIES.Thanks everybody for all the comments they have been helpful, and for watching, and quite a few festools have been sold also! like over 15gran that I am aware of personally,, which was not my intention but it did help as from all the personal emails i received, phone calls etc. so again I am glad I was able to contribute back from all the stuff I have learned from everybody. to date I have had 8,327 views of the series, which has been posted on several forums, facebook and a few other places. still more posting to go. my goal is 20,000 views. then I will take all the info and improve and who knows what my next venture will be !

Just to let you know, I've used my new LS-32 hole drilling system on my first built-in, and it worked like a charm. Unbelievable accuracy and speed, which don't normally go together! I wouldn't have dared do something like this without your videos...so thank you!
I have some questions on Dominos and built ins...but I will save them for another thread!
