Hi everyone, I've just aquired my first Festool piece of equipment, well, 2 actually!
The MFT3 and the TS 55R and so looking foward to using them!!
I don't like the tubular flimsy legs, so has anyone made a base/table to sit the MFT on?
Any help/advice/pics would be most welcome!

Regards

Gerry,

Welcome! to the FOG.  There are tons of stands here and searching will bring results.  Here is just one of many that you will find using the search function.  http://festoolownersgroup.com/festool-jigs-tool-enhancements/introduction-and-new-workstation/

Others will surely post some of their favorites also.

The tools in my truck were talking the other day.  The Dewalts, PC's, Boschs, Makitas were not happy.  They also were in the minority.  Their complaint:  They felt unused and unappreciated since the Festools moved in.  I guess the truth hurts.

There are quite a few posted about this.  I think if I had mine to do over, I would make an inset on one end (or both ends) to hang items on instead of the pullout.  This would give a lot more flexibility.
