new T-18 just today.
« on: December 17, 2012, 07:56 PM »
Hi, this is my first time posting (i think) lol     I finally decided on a T-18 drill.  I get it home and go to play with it a bit and i notice that when you feather the trigger, when it stops im getting a little  "thunk"    is this normal?    My 18v Metabo bsz or whatever it is, makes this noise also..albeit a little louder.
I tried the C-15 li  for a couple days and i didnt notice this at all.   Does this drill have that much more power or should i get a replacement?

Thank you!       $720 for a drill, i would hope wouldnt do this...

The thunk is normal. It's the electric brake kicking in. It happens rather quickly, even a bit violently.
