Sysport Drawer Shelf Template Or Dimension
« on: February 26, 2017, 07:31 PM »
Hello Everyone,

I remember seeing a drawing here for the location and relative dimension of systainer's shelf (4 cut out for systainer to sit in) in the past, but I've been seaching for a while and just could not find anything.

The shelf as seen below from member Scorpion.

259001-0

Would anyone have one that I can use, please?

Thanks. JZ

Here's one answer: Reply #5 at http://festoolownersgroup.com/workshops-and-mobile-vehicle-based-shops/two-deep-systainer-drawers/

Best - Gary

Never thought about cutting them separate and rejoin them together, smart!

I will follow Richard's and Billy's lead and give a try.

Thank you everyone´╝ü

Here's mine...

I used a different approach - 17mm bush with 10mm cutter and a template. Knocked them out in no time at all. Used in conjunction with the SYS-AZ drawers for less frequently accessed items.

[NOTE: Tools from other manufacturers are of course available. As this is the Festool Owners Group, I tend to limit my advice to the tools that Festool sell, and assume that you've come to this site to get advice on Festool tools and because the level of skill and experience of the community here outstrips most you'll find elsewhere. If you *are* interested in tools from other manufacturers, please mention it in your post and also take the time to visit their user forums too.]

@Garry, your template validated my measurement.

I had 280mm between two feet cross and 167mm front to back. Taking out 7mm bushing off set, so they are at 273mm and 160mm. The front feet are 45mm x 38mm, so your cut out is 52mm x 45mm, and they are the Datum, the rear can run wild since they are smaller... Good simple engineering!

Thank you!
