8020 sells aluminum extrusions similar to these in imperial and metric versions.  They sell enough accessories that you can build practically anything you can imagine...actually that is one of their marketing phrases... "The Imagination Store"  I purchase mine on E-bay but they have industrial suppliers across the states.  If you contact them, they will refer you to the one closest to you.  When I buy on E-bay from them they send one of the small project example booklets that illustrate what customers have built.  These books are great inspiration and creative motivators.  You can also find them on Facebook, where they also show examples of builds.

Hi I am so impressed with your idea. So I have gone ahead and started to build my own, with some question need to ask re:- what runner and wood you have used and from which company. Same for how did you build the router table and any more details on your drill how to fix and move back and forward please advice.

Many thanks

Insane. I just wanna know how much it cost for all those aluminum extrusions!

I really like your bench, awesome work!

I’m considering building a similar bench, what made you decide on 1515/4040 over 1530/4080?  I’m fine with spending less money but want to ensure if I build a bench it’s strong enough to also function as an assembly table and maybe some hand planing.

If I built a similar bench, how strong do you suppose I’d need to go on the extrusions to support the weight of the systainers, MDF top, and any wood which may sit on top of the cabinet (perhaps cabinet assembly)?  Would ultra lite or lite work?
