Just stumbled onto this on YouTube, there are a few ideas that could be adapted the mobile MFT/Sysport builds on the FOG.
In another of his videos they hook a dust extractor to the cabinet itself providing centralized extraction for all the tools. Interesting idea, not sure how well it would work. RMW

i saw that last year but lost it again and couldnt post it . there is some good potential in there. i bet there would be a bit of weight to it all loaded up. i think it would work great in aofice bloacks or schools or open plan homes etc. it would be a pain to use in homes here as most doors in our houses are 2'6" doors . i wish i could use it in the shop but my shop is too small

I reminds me of the old Bob and Ray routine about their new copy machines. The price was $500,000, to which the foil remarked, "Gee, that's quite a bit of money. I don't think you'll sell too many." The reply? Yea, you're probably right. But, then again, we won't need to sell too many."

That is pretty cool. I could definetly see a Festool set up like that. I think the super fast set up would be very good for those with non-dedicated shop space (pull the car out roll out the shop) or those who work on the patio or in front of the garage.

Not a bad idea, but not really single men friendly if you have to pick it up.This could be good for commercial job site. Also i don't know about the miter saw platform, seems a little high to me.

what strikes me is that if you buy an MFT plus all the CMS units needed, and a kapex, ts 55 , ct26 and of1400 you will not be spending allot more and you will actually have the tools, be truly mobile and have DC... And whats with the "portable carpentry workshop" designation? I expected something portable for job sites, theres nothing portable about it. But i guess it makes sense to have all your tools on a rolling cabinet, so that you have place in your workshop to store the forklift required to "portable" it on your truck bed

I can see the value of this. When I was living in my condo with a sigle car garage, all I really had room for was a contractors table saw with a router mounted in the extended table (40"beismeyer fence on it) I didnt know about festoons at the time (12 years ago). So this would of been perfect for that situation

I think it needs a canopy, a fridge and a couple of bar stools.
There's nothing smart about creating a monster trolley to "solve" a space problem.

A few years ago a friend and I were at my local Lowe's waiting in line at the cash register. There was a huge toolbox system on display next to where we were waiting. It had built in power, lights and a radio. I jokingly commented that all it needed was a fridge. Then we took a closer look and realized that it did have a fridge! Sometimes too much is way too much.
