what are you guys gonna cut with this setup ?
Polygons or slots in plywood. With a thin blade even chop dovetails where you'd normally use chisel. Who knows. Always nice to have options.
Cut a lot of 65mm or smaller polygons in plywood do you ?
Slots would be more efficient with a router and a spiral bit.
Dovetails ? Perhaps, but the board length would be quite short.
Of course it's nice to have options, but the expense of this plus the drill stand far outweigh the "what if" and "would be nice" factors in my view. This setup only seems to make sense for the severely space challenged woodworker. Like someone in a studio or one bedroom apartment. And that has to be a very limited market.
This thing reminds me a lot of other Wolfcraft and Rockler products. Clever solutions looking for a problem, or gee wiz gizmos that appeal to a wheel healed collector more than they serve a function not covered by some other tool.
But I agree , choice is good.
