Okay, shipping is $15US including insurance. That way the price is the same for Canadians and our US customers. $35 gets you 6 high quality Robertson bits delivered to your door. You can send Paypal to dan@ultimatetools.caMake sure we have your address in the request and we have to limit this to 2 packages per order cause we are very limited on inventory. Matter of fact, we are pretty much sold out. Cheers Dan

To be honest, I can't believe nobody has done this sooner ! There has been a lot of noise about these bits. Me, I would like the world to go Torx. By far the best !

Congrats to bringing these to market!
About 6 months ago I was going to work on this project and consulted with one of the most experienced people in the field who was also interested in Festool and knew about the whole situation. He advised me to wait and see because something was in the works. Maybe this is what he was talking about.
Congrats Again!

The tools in my truck were talking the other day. The Dewalts, PC's, Boschs, Makitas were not happy. They also were in the minority. Their complaint: They felt unused and unappreciated since the Festools moved in. I guess the truth hurts.

Peter, I have been asking for a while, and finally the opportunity came up and the quality was there for us to do this and we are proud to have Dan taking charge of the west. Keep in mind as Canadians we are doing this for all Festool drill owners, kreg jig owners, Canadians and other really really square people.... Shawn AMS

Question, are the bits the same 100mm length as the Festool Centrotec?

Just about... They're listed as being 4" in length overall, so the Festool bits are just "a silly millimeter longer."

Finally, I'm now interested in getting a Centrotic setup.
Shawn....you have these in stock if I drop by your store, or should I call ahead? Sounds like a "goin' like hotcakes" item.
And what can you compare them insofar as quality to what other Centrotec bits are?
EDIT: Just read your other thread "Open House" in regards to the Centrotec/Robertson bits also. Sounds like a winner.

Hey Kevin You better call him first. I think we are all struggling with the demand right now. Buy an extra 20 sets from him and ship them out to me Dan

Let me know if this is good enough. I took it late last night - it has some depth of field issues.

I was hoping for a better photos, thanks Sorry wasn't sure what you would expect to see - They're Roberston's, work perfectly in a centrotec and they're black as shown when you zoom the Atlas photo.

Well I got them and I have now used them , they are great, heck I no longer need to use the BHS 65 with collet for holding my bits for the pocket screws. Its seems we waited a long time for them and it was well worth the wait to finally have them Sal

Will it be possible to purchase only one size of the bits, or mix and match to get the six? I use mostly screws requiring a #2 tip, so several of those would be nice, while #1 & #3 are seldom used.

That question was already asked and answered. They said they will consider it for a future manufacturing run but not now. Apparently this was the only way to make all the sizes available at a feasible price from the manufacturer

Steve (Fatroman) and I placed an order together to split the shipping and I just got the bits. They feel like they are made with high quality steel. We'll put them to use on Monday!

For the record, bits were ordered Tuesday afternoon and were received today, Saturday, in San Diego via airmail.
So, no big delays, if any, due to customs etc.
