Festool Dealer near NYC - 10,000 sq feet!

WWW
« on: February 02, 2012, 02:08 PM »

We've revamped and remodeled our Festool display and demo area.  1,000 square feet of dedicated Festool demonstration space for you to test drive anything and everything in the Festool USA arsenal.  On February 18th, Toby Haskins, our regional Festool Manager, along with Dave Reinhold, internet superstar / personality / sensation / good guy, will be in the shop, around 10-1pm for hands on demos, questions and much more.

This is a great chance to check out anything under the Festool sun before the March 1st price increase and make that decision you've been holding off on for so long.  Pick through over $200,000 of Festool inventory, bring in some material, or use some of ours, and decide if you want to pull the trigger or not.

Also, let's see if we can drum up enough interest to make this a mini / local FOG get together.  Who's in?

Sounds great. This is a great place to buy tools. They have great service. Just call and order and it's on it's way to you wherever you live. And if you are one of the fortunate ones that live close to store you are blessed and broke!!!

To bad that superstar Kreg can't be there to sign breadboard. Oh wait that's me!

Have fun anyway with my understudy Dave!! Beating a dead horse Poke

Come on Builderbob, that is the purfict place to take your 6 yr old for his birthday.  When my son was 5, he was already running my backhoes and tractors.  When i turned him loose on a jobsite at about 6 or 7, I had him digging practice holes to spec and then regrading.  (no pushing here, you could not pry him off that toy with a crowbar)  The builder showed up and watched for about fifteen minutes and came into house where I was building a fireplace.  He spoke to me saying, "Holy smokes!  My kids only got Tonka Toys for Christmas."  I supose I could have commented something about Tinker Toys, but that song is probabbly still restricted some how.  Poke

PS  Times have changed  Mad  My son was allowing his son to run an excavator on a waterline job a couple of years ago and somebody called the cops.  Grandson was really ticked off about that one, as he was told to get off of the machine.  we know who made the call but never told GS.  Scratching Chin

If all you want to do it "get your hands on one", I am certain you can "touch one" at the WW Show in Somerset at the end of the month.  Tongue Out

Then you can go to Sean's Demo and purchase it. Poke

The toolnut show is the weekend before the ww show. Sean should definetly have a 1010 router to see it in person. I'm acually working the ww show also and to the best of my knowledge Festool is not going to have everything on site to try out. If you let me know what your interested in seeing I'll try my best to make sure it's there.

Also I live in nj so if you want to see my 1010 let me know and we can meet up.

Thanks for the offer.  The 1010 is the only tool I am looking to buy at the moment, so no special requests from me.  Do you know if we will be able to try them out, or just hold them?  I have a bit of experience with the 1400, so I am not completely unfamiliar with Festool routers, but I think the 1010, which I have never used will fit in with my current arsenal better.

The toolnut recently enlarged the entire Festool area with multiple mft stations setup. I spoke with Sean and he said the customers are able to use the tools and take them for a test spin. The demo isn't going to be all talking I would love for you guys to get some hands on time with the tools so you can see if the tool is something you would like to add to your arsenal.  Again if there is a certain tool or accessory you would like to see let me or Sean know so we can make we have it in stock.

Vindingo
I will have my 1010 router with me and I'll bring the accessories I have also. They really make the router stand out from all others.

Hey, sorry for the tardy reply Vindingo.  I had checked the thread earlier in the day on my iphone and I guess it didn't "trip" the forums automatic alerts to let me know if any new posts were made.

Anyways, it will surely be a demo day.  There will be a bunch of my salesmen on hand to help out with demos, as well as Toby and Dave.  I think we have close to 6 or 7 MFT's setup on the floor now.  There's certainly a minimum of 1 of everything on hand and opened up for display and demonstration purposes.

I haven't heard if Ken is coming.  I didn't think that he was going to be around for about 45 days, but I see that he has posted today.  Maybe good time off?

If he can attend you guys should have an even better time.  Have fun!

The tools in my truck were talking the other day.  The Dewalts, PC's, Boschs, Makitas were not happy.  They also were in the minority.  Their complaint:  They felt unused and unappreciated since the Festools moved in.  I guess the truth hurts.

Demo Day at Tool Nut was great. Sean and the gang have made a great demo area to play with the goodies and they have created a great two walls of all the goodies that go with the tool.
It was a fun and enjoyable day .
There were plenty of people there and many questions being answered by Dave, Ken and even I got into it to help out and had a ball.

Brian it was great meeting you and I am glad to see all the goodies you left with...

Sean all I can say is Thanks for a great event, looking forward for more..
