Ron,
Sent you PM, thanks for accomodating my request, looking forward to getting one.
No rush.
Video showing its use would be great, is it already done?
Cheers

Here's a video review I did of the Domiplate. Goes through what you get, what you need to add (some screws and bolts you likely already have), and a demo of it in use. Link to the blog entry of the review.

if you poped the 2 halfs of the clamping eliments knob apart they would fit. i think when i got the domiplate i didnt have the clamping eliments but fould a knob lying around that fit. you could supply the bolt and let people make their own handle

I'll need to do some checking to see what I can provide those for. It hasn't come up very often because most folks already have the knob & screws. One of the problems with me sending them is that the knob won't (safely) fit into the small priority mailing box -- if I recall correctly going up to the needed size just about doubles the postage cost but again I'll check that for sure and post an answer here. Regards, Ron [/quote]
it's more trouble than it's worth... don't bother... i'll just paypal you the $50 for the plate...
thanks for the reply....

Poped?
You mean... Like dressing up like Liberace's stunt double, putting on a pointy hat, muttering in a dead language, and swinging a smoking brazier? That will magick the knob into the box?
I need footage on YouTube. This has to be seen.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE THIS AND YOU DO HAVE A DOMINO, SHAME ON YOU. I KNOW MY CAPS LOCK IS ENGAGED, BUT I CAN NOT STRESS THIS HIGHLY ENOUGH! RUN, DO NOT WALK, TO YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT AND SEND RON YOUR MONEY.
I got mine today (actually probably earlier in the week, but my wife just checked our mail today). I made two test cuts, then proceeded to make 48 mortises in some fairly large file drawers. I used 5mm dominoes in 1/2" Baltic birch ply and they come out dead nuts PERFECT. I'm not sure its been said before, but I like having the Domino inverted, as it moves the dust chute to the opposite side, which enables me to grip the barrel of the machine rather than the tail (I have really large hands, so this has been an issue for me).
THANK YOU RON! I look forward to years of use from this great, simple addition!

Another tip that may have already been discussed is when using the machine vertically, extend the height of the fence all the way up, adding to the stability and giving more room for your supporting hand.
Great gadget!

Santa delivered a Domiplate for Christmas. Thank you to Ron, and especially to Ron for being Spousal Unit Friendly! I got a chance to play with it today and: Question: "Peter, You tend to be long winded, but can you summarize your thoughts on this accessory?" Peter: Yes I can. SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!! Question: "Anything else you would like to add to that?" Peter: If you have a Domino - BUY IT! Peter

NOTE -- I am very low on DomiPlates ( Christmas RUSH!) so please drop me an e-mail that I can acknowledge before placing an order. I need to get busy & build up a supply. I am driven to always get orders into the mail shortly after I receive them.
You mean you do not take off Christmas week like the rest of the world?

I'm glad to hear things are moving well again through customs. To order Domiplates please go to SENECAWOODWORKING.COM
We now have filled back-orders and have a small stock with a much larger stock on the way. Thanks, Ron

I read that with my red/green 3-D cardboard glasses that came with a Grand Funk album, uh, years ago and it was cool how I could make it jump around by shifting my eyes.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to do a quick post and introduce myself to the forum. I'm Ryan Wenner; Ron's son. First of all, I just want to apologize to anyone who's been anxiously waiting to order a Domiplate: we've made a few IMPROVEMENTS! But unfortunately this batch has been delayed at one of our vendors (hint: anodizing!). I've been helping dad out with some of the other 'business' details too. Next week we should be launching a new website to take orders for the Domiplate. Also, we are working on several new tools that should be available in the coming weeks. I'll post more details soon here in this thread. In the meantime, I just wanted to say hi and that it's great to be part of this great community!
-Ryan
