I have been asked to supply an assortment of the fine grit Granat for the RO 90. I'm curious if there are others that would like such an assortment.

Thanks in advance for your opinions,

Adubeau:

I sell a Platin assortment for the RO 90.

By the lack of response, can I assume nobody is interested in an assortment of fine grit, 90mm diameter Granat?

Tom, I am not sure yet where the RO90 fits into my workflow.  It seems like Granat would be a good way to go as Festool seems to be positioning it as the "go to" paper.

I'd like it Tom - I'm just in the wrong neck of the woods.

To me the big issue with assortments is refills ... You never consume your grits evenly and no two people seem to have the same usage bias.

I'd love a sub site I could go to to order selections of any of the Festool papers in increments of 10's, with reasonable discounting at breakpoints (15% at 100, 20% at 200, 25% at 500or the like).

I realize this would potentially cause the supplier to have a lot of broken box standby stock - but something like it would be awesome.

 im with kev on this.
that would be great if you could mix and match the grits and types but still keep the qty discount on full box qtys

That is exactly my situation. I have 100+ partial boxes already. I'm happy to add to the list if it is a service that people will use. I'm somewhat hesitant to go much further with this based on the last assortment that I put together, which was for 125 mm Granat. I still have 80% of those 14 boxes sitting next to my desk for the past couple of weeks because I've run out of shelf space. Time to build some more shelves, I guess...

For the 125mm diameter Granat, I did an assortment in a T-Loc and the same assortment without a T-Loc. They each have 125 discs and go from P 40 through P 500.

The 90mm diameter Platin 2 assortment has 20 discs, 5 of each.
