Pre-order now!

Since we cannot get the Festool sword saw here in the U.S., I thought this may be of interest to the forum members. Another option is the Prazi beam cutters that bolt on to almost any circular saw.

Hit the link below for all of the details. Available 2019.

This is great... But no dust extraction.... I realize the festool sword saw extraction is minimal, but any is better than none. I've used the prazi and was underwhelmed. May have to try this....

Integration of chain lube is interesting. Does the Prazi have that?

Not that I recall. What the skil doesn't have is the ability to use a track like the Festool sword.

The Prazi also requires that the (worm drive) saw be jacked way up, awkwardly raising the center of gravity. Prazi has no oiler or dust chute.

The shoe on the Skil worm drive saws is too narrow to ride on a Festool rail. Needs another 5/8” or so. A grooved outrigger could be added to the shoe to capture the guiderail’s spine. Or, with the 14+” depth of cut with the Skilsaw you could make an auxiliary shoe for the Skil to ride on. That would be better since it would allow for adjustment to make the blade parallel to the rail.

Something maybe TSO would be good at...
