There are some awesome deals.  I wish I hadn’t just ordered a discontinued TSC last week from ToolNut...

Dtsc called to me also and I answered, also bought the STL-450 light.  Bought the tripod adapter for it from  Toolnut.

Yup, Planex for me.  Does anyone know the difference between the LHS 225 and the LHS 225 EQ Plus? I went with the cheaper version, hopefully it's in good shape. Fingers crossed.

I think EQ means Electronic Control of the motor (same revs under diff loads). Plus is about packaging (a Systainer) and accessories.

Do Planex require an CT 36 AC, or do they work just the same with the other models of CTs

I'm hoping with the addition of the new pre-seperator the need for an AC is reduced.

I am interested in the TSC55 Cordless Track Saw.  There are several bare tool models, does anybody know the differences in the ones listed in the sale.  Besides Metric vs. Imperial.

I’d pop the part number into a dealers site
Some bare tools may not come with batteries or a track

I just bought the Planex and plan to use it with a CT 36 and a Cyclone separator. Just carry spare bags, and plan to replace the bag before it is even full as it will plug. Every once in a while you can thump the bag to get the caked pores to open back up if the bag starts plugging. Some fine dust may get past the bag into the expensive HEPA filter. This is the CT36AC filter part number Festool 203759, which is a $59 filter vs the $100 HEPA filter.

That ETS EC 125 is still available and is a good deal. I had considered purchasing one and turning it into an ETS EC 125/5 by changing out the fan and bearing assembly.

It's also interesting that the metric TSC's are still available while the imperial versions are sold out. [scratch chin]

I'm still on the lookout for a metric HKC. [big grin]

I ordered a T55 metric,  I'm curious if it will be beat to heck and be a tool that came back just as the warranty was coming near the end, or have they had a pile of these laying around for a while.   It would have been interesting to know how many of all the tools they had.   The metric stuff looked to sell pretty quick.  What doesn't look to be selling quick is the battery tools which makes sense.  Battery tools and non current models I would expect to be a harder sell than newer models.  If it was a current model but metric it looks to sell out pretty quick or rather not anything in difference we can draw conclusion from on this side.  I don't doubt someone at Festool come monday will put numbers in a spreadsheet and trying to draw some conclusions.

I really didn't want to buy a used/beat tool, but not many options.

I am most curious why so many Planex's where there and why half off.

I do not think any of these are going to be beat up - some might show light use with some scuffs, etc... and the Systainers might be a little dirty. The return policy is 30 days - so there would not be any returns 3 years in. My guess (and this is just a guess on my part) is that these are new "old" stock left over or returns from dealers/stores that had old stock.

Also realize you will either need a Planex hose, or at the least a D36 hose. The Planex hose locks on vs the D36 that will probably fall off fairly often if you don't find a way to tape it on, or rig a bungee to it.

I've never had an issue with a recon tool, everyone I've received, looks like new, including the Systainer.  A couple of issues though, check for the proper accessories in the Systainer. Sometimes you're missing a screw, sometimes it's a wrench.

Also of note, I purchased a recon MFK 700 in 2017 that was assembled in 2008.  [eek]

Picked up a C15 drill set for me. I have a the special Centrotec bit set from a few years ago, so now I can put it all to good use. I was planning on getting the new Festool CT cyclone, so that's back on the list.

For those that just got a planex, I picked one up off local craigslist and I use a 36mm hose and CT 36 with planex autoclean air filter, no issues.

Both are TSC saws, both are basic saws, as in no batteries, no charger, no rail. Both are also metric. The 561730 is circa 2016. The 575372 is from a later date. That’s all I know. Maybe it’s just a change in packaging?

I was looking at TSC saws in August. If I recall correctly the difference is the “bedding” or liner for the systainer

That sounds right.  The airstream chargers are a little bigger, so they have modified the insert to accommodate?

Hello, could you please tell me if you will have the bigger domino or the rotex 150 on there? I've never been able to afford anything festool. I promised my grandma that I would build her several pieces of furniture, including a large flag display for my grandpa that was in ww2.

@TylerC ?

The numbers on this have changed a few times, and I'm struggling to track down the specifics on this one. They're both metric, pre-Airstream versions. On occasion, numbers will change without any actual change to the tool or scope of delivery.

When I called Festool yesterday they said it would take a few days to get the orders all entered, but that shipping would start soon thereafter.
