Trade Up Program - a big thanks
« on: November 01, 2018, 07:35 PM »

Just want to give a big "thank you" to all those customers making their TRADE UP purchases from my store/website. The few tools on back-order will ship next week.

This turned out to be a pretty good program designed by who knows who in Festoolland, Indianna and I'm guessing turned out well for all parties - customers, dealers and Festool.

 Again, thanks All.

Festool should post a picture of what customers traded in - a big pile of old tools.
Curious what will happen to them.

Festool mentioned that all "tools" would be disposed of "responsibly."   I'm sure that would be a very interesting picture!

Hello, could you please tell me if this program is still going on? That would be the only way I could ever come close to getting anything festool. Do you know what they do with the tools that we've traded in?

Since the traded tools didn't have to be Festools (or even power tools) I doubt there would be any Festool tools in the trade-in pile.

Sorry, this program ended October 31. As for the returned "tools" I'm not exactly sure but Festool has disposed of them responsibly; they are not being resold. You may want to keep on eye on Festool's reconditioned tool sale though.
