So I have used the t55 for a small cabinet shop for a couple years now and it get used a few times a week.
The cutting is starting to show signs of ware and it seams that the blade can be moved from side to side at bit.

Do you mean in 2009 you purchased a factory-rebuilt TS55?

All I can tell you is that the first TS55 I purchased in January 2006 has been used at least 300 times a year since then without need for any factory service. The same is true of the 5 TS55 I have purchased since then. Every TS55 I have owned keeps on working day after day, sheet after sheet.

Hi,

I am pretty sure it should not have any play. Sounds like  a question for Festool service.

Give them a call  800-554-8741.
