Here is a video review I did of the CXS. I have been using it for a few days now and its been great. Its so much smaller in person and feels great in your hand. The weight of the tool really surprised me on how light it is and the power this little drill has is very impressive. I have been driving some long screws with it as well as drilling some decent holes and the cxs is taking everything I throw at it. Before anyone asks how I got it. It was sent to me from Sean at The Tool nut and you will be seeing more videos by me for them. I've been ordering from www.festoolproducts.com for a while now and love all the customer service and prompt deliveries and couldn't think of a better company to partner up with. The CXS is an amazing drill and for $275 for the set is a great price. I think you will be quite impressed with the drill and you will find it being your go to drill. Dave R

I'm not sponsored by Festool I just love there tools. I will see what I can do about gathering up some compact drills for a review. I owned the makita ones and there were problems with the switches. I also had the Bosch ones and thought they were to slow and way under powered. I'm glad you enjoyed the video and I have some non Festool reviews coming up soon. Dave R

Hello, Nice vid. Can you adjust the tork settings with the right angle chuck on? Or do you remove the chuck, then make the adjustment? Best vid so far. Be well Timothy

Thanks. I just checked and you can adjust the torque settings with the right angle chuck. Your view is obstructed alittle but if you need it adjusted it can be done. Dave R

So who received there CXS today?? How do you like it? I've been using mine all day installing cabinets the right angle attachment has come in handy a couple of times. The magnet in the right angle attachment is a real life saver, Keeping that screw right on the bit. Dave

I got my CSX a couple of days ago, great drill, but I have one question. In this video the driveshaft of the drill is shown to be magnetic......mine is not. Did they change this along the way?

Mine is magnetic also, I suppose your drill didn't get the magnet inserted. A call to Festool should get you sorted out.

Yes my drill 1/4" sank is magnetic as well as the right angle chuck. It is so helpful I wish my c12 was like that.

I found the magnet, it had come out of the drive shaft when I attached and then removed the right angle chuck. It wasn't going back in and staying there on it's own so I put a drop of super glue on it and all is good now. I use my drill a little different than most of you. I work in Paintless Dent Removal, remove hail damage from cars without repainting the car. I use the CSX to remove screws and such to remove headliners and head lamps and tail lamps from cars, it is working really well, the LED is fantastic inside a car or in a dark trunk. Yes I have had others, Dewalt 12V made one trip from a hood to the floor and bent the shaft, now in the trash. Dewalt 18V, now a couple of years old, is really to big and it smells like burnt wiring every time I pull the trigger. The Bosch 10.8V drill and impact driver kit is ok but the impact is so loud and will easily put things back too tight and the Bosch drill is so slow it is worthless. So far the CSX is looking the best thing ever.
