Wood Pulp, Just so I'm clear it attaches to the 36 by sliding "into" the 36? I have the Planex and that 36 mm hose has a set of protrusions outside of the 36 connector that lets the forked latch lock the Planex to the Hose. If this does slide in the opening of the 36 then this would be perfect when you want to switch to a delta head sander to get the corners that the Planex 225mm head can't reach. Cheers, Steve |

I'm sure there would be times this adapter is useful, but after using most of the different tools with both hoses, I've found that when the 36mm hose is too bulky at the tool end, a 27mm whip hose of 18 - 24 inches connected into the 36mm hose works better.  |

Ken and Wood Pulp, The CT 36AC hose is very different than the "normal" CT AS. The Black Planex hose is very very flexible and the outsides is softer, so the hoses inside surface can be Auto Cleaned and the outside won't scratch the wall. I find that the Black hose lets you get into places, such as a refrigerator nook and you are not fighting the hose to move around in it. the 36mm AC (AS) if much more flexible than a 27 AS hose. For sanding and working around finished things while remodeling the Black AC (and it is AS) is very handy. Cheers, Steve |
