Systainer 2 w clear lid
« on: June 11, 2019, 09:21 AM »
I know this may seem stupid but i was on the fence of purchasing one. Especially at $105.00 for limited storage. Well was the best money i spent. I ise it for drill purpose. I do alot of handy man jobs hanging pictures mirrors towel bars etc. Ill upload a pic when i get back to shop but it has made life so much easier. No more looking through the tool bag for the last screw or anchor etc. Everything is right there nice neat as well as the drill bit neaded. I have a hard time stayimg organized and man this just does it for me.. if ypure on the fence about it its worth every dollar.

I use one for my drill/impact to keep the screw driver bits and everything together.  It works out great.  I put Kaizen foam in the Systainer and the drill, impact, and charger have a place.  I leave a loose box of drill bits in there; which can be a bit annoying because if they are in the wrong place the lid won't close right.  I would rather deal with the positioning than not having everything together.

Also, I was a dummy enough times and flipped the lid while the attic wasn't secured that I sharpied over the lock icon; so that it is more visually different when unlocked; hopefully preventing spilling the entire attic contents onto the floor.

Yup red Sharpie works great!

Works best on a T-Loc but I did it on a Classic as well.

I use a combo for this. You can't instantly see what's in there without opening it buy there's a lot more space. I have one for my Bosch 12V kit (drill with 4 chucks, impact driver, wall scanner, laser distance meter, charger, 3 batteries and a reiprocating saw all fit in the main part of a Syd 2 combo) with a whole bunch of bits, a 12V led light, a mini pocket hole kit and several bits and bobs in the drawer. A combo 3 is also great for an OF1010, put some foam in the drawer and most router bits will fit upright with the shaft stuck into the foam.
