I bought a 12 drawer sortainer and it arrived yesterday (Thanks Tom !) I wasn't sure I wanted to spend the money on it. But man I'm glad I did. As you can see in the video it's going to help me out a lot. Went to a festool demo day. Saw your video, came home with a 12 drawer stortainer. Doood yer right, that thing is deceiving, It holds all my screws (the good ones I use a lot) and I still got empty drawers left to fill

sweet  ! I couldn't believe how many screws I could fit in it either. I was really impressed. I need at lease two more to get where I want to be with getting organized, at lease that's what the wife thinks. Keep the videos coming. I just picked up my OF 1400 today and was tempted to buy the 12 drawer sortainer after watching your video, but will have to wait as I need to finish my shop redesign and see what I will need.

I like mine except when the screws move around enough while in my van and jam the drawers.  Using it is still ten times better then a bunch of different containers! |

Ive been wanting to create my own installers kit. That just may be the ticket. Room to put my cord less makita impact/ drill or impact/systlite (when I get one) depending on what work I have to do and plenty of storage for the different drivers. see what you did opened up another way for me to go broke buying these green tools :>D |

SKIDS....the sandpaper one? Are you talking about a systainer to hold sandpaper? If so, then yes. I have one sys for my DTS400 paper and one sys for my 125 paper. I need to order another systainer for both my 400 and 125 paper. I have more paper then the systainers can hold. Eric |

Skids......this is what I did for my Kreg clamps. I keep the Jig screwed to a piece of wood and clamp it to a MFT table when I use it. This is a sys 3. with fastcap Kaizen foam. I love the kaizen foam!  Eric |

SKIDS....the sandpaper one? Are you talking about a systainer to hold sandpaper? If so, then yes. I have one sys for my DTS400 paper and one sys for my 125 paper. I need to order another systainer for both my 400 and 125 paper. I have more paper then the systainers can hold. Eric Haha! Yeah the sandpaper one! ; ) I gotta get the one for the 125 paper. I am about to throw down on another sander, probably the ETS 125 so I can share paper with my RO. Do you like your DTS? |

Skids......this is what I did for my Kreg clamps. I keep the Jig screwed to a piece of wood and clamp it to a MFT table when I use it. This is a sys 3. with fastcap Kaizen foam. I love the kaizen foam! [ ERROR: SPECIFIED ATTACHMENT MISSING ] Eric That is sweet! I only have two clamps, I suppose I could lay them down. I am eventually going to get around to getting some Kaizen, good to know you endorse it. |

Do you find the DTS motion to be dramatically different in terms of material removal than the ROS you have? The DTS is orbital and the others you have are ROS..I am curious about the results and feel of an orbital to an ROS. Sorry if I am derailing this thread. |

Skids.. The EST125 and DTS400 have a lot of the same specs. I find the ETS125 removes more material faster then the DTS400. The DTS400 is nice and smooth in operating. By that I mean it doesn't jump around like some guys say the Rotex sanders do. The DTS400 with 40 or 60 grit paper on it will get down and dirty for you. And you can keep it under control. If you're looking for an opinion, I would get the DTS400. Since you already own the RO125. I only wanted the ETS125 and DTS400 to fill my Festool sander wish list. But the recon sale happened a few months back and I used that as an excuse to buy the RO125  . Which turned out to be another slippery slope for me, now I want a couple more Festool sanders. Eric |

Eric Awesome, thanks for the info...I keep waffling back and forth on which to get, which is bad because then I end up getting both and technically don't need both for this this project. As long as I know the DTS can remove material I would be inclined to go with that. Either way, got 30 days! The Rotexes are nice but as a go to ROS they're just ok. I did some stairs and flooring with my RO125 and that is where that sander REALLY shines. Then took it to some maple furniture and it left pig tails that took alot of work to get out that the DTS would have made simple work of. |

Actually the 12 drawer Sortainer holds about the same volume as the Sys - I w/ colored boxes. You just get a lot more divisions. Seth |

I got that one too. Maybe Ill get another syst 1 with the boxes. I am also looking the 4 drawer as well. I might be moving into a smaller shop so i will have be creative with the shop space.
But thats a different subj. I might start another thread about some questions I have about some ideas Ive came up with.
