200 years in the future...

In episode 4 of “The Expanse”, an Amazon Prime series, that takes place 200 years in the future, the main character is getting out a futuristic tool from... a Festool Systainer! I expect that Festool tools will last at least that long!

LOL Wow that looks totally out of place in that scene too! They should have at least used a black one!

NAIMA: (Not Available In Martian Atmosphere). is a regular complaint,  and a twist on things on Ceres, tools are only available marked in irrational cubits and no one knows why.

In case you're in Sci-Fi you'll have fun, it's a great show (as are the books, written by the guys who direct the show iirc).

They were also used in the short lived series Terra Nova for special futuristic looking cases.

Well, the largest legalized crime syndicate (central banking) reduced the value of the US$ by about 96% in 100 years. If the next 200 years are the same, that $70 (?) Systainer 2 will indeed be ~$40K.

And at 40K a Systainer is worth every penny.   [smile]

Let's not get off track here.
