Ever since I installed my WCR1000 on my CT36 I was frustrated about losing the cord wrap that came with the CT36. As many have done I resorted to hanging my cord on one of the tool hooks which worked in a pinch. BUT drumroll please I figured out a way to use my lonely unused for too one cord wrap on my CT36! I am now much happier and can sleep at night once again! What I did was semi brutal in that I had to sand down the curved profile on the cord wrap. I sanded it such that it would lie flat upon a piece of plywood mounting plate. I sized the mounting plate so that it nestled into the side column of the WCR1000. I bolted the cord wrap to the mounting plate. Then I drilled holes in the mounting plate for high tech attachment method to the WCR1000 column. It fits in between the CT handle and WCR1000 column perfectly and works a treat! Here are some photos:

Showing CT cord wrapped in place.

The cord now unwrapped from the cord wrap.

CT cord now happily stowed away on its original cord wrap! Now all is right with the world.
