We are now at 201. Before you wonder if my math skills are lacking, we have had some cancellations. That is ok and fair.
What is utterly amazing is that the majority of messages that I am getting contain the phrase "I want to support the FOG". How great is that?

As a side note, I would like to say thank you to the customer service agent at Paypal who just assisted me. It seems that we triggered many security concerns with the success of this program and the inflow of payments.
Thanks again!

That's hilarious about paypal. It just added to my last 24 hours. I am a dog lover and my 15.5 year old Golden Retriever is nearing the time. He has had a great life and I have been nursing him for a few days until I can help him to a better situation. Last night after eating he started choking on his food. I came to his aid and frankly saved his life. Unfortunately during his struggles he altered my nose. This morning I was attending to that issue. I will not be starring in any movies for a while unless they are horror movies! Then upon returning home I see the email from PayPal that says that I can receive payments for the Fogtainers, but I can't access the funds. WHAT!!! The email gave me steps I had to follow to unlock, and I couldn't do any of them because of the nature of this project. I had to call. I did tell them that I understood why this tripped the triggers. Let's face it, I set up a Paypal account for this not long ago. Money starts coming in from all over world in small to medium amounts, and then I haven't accessed any of it. I actually respect what they did. Luckily the person on the other end of the phone listened to me, he followed my instructions and found this thread - and Shane's banner and the order of the universe was restored. All of this points to what I have been saying. This is such a unique project because of the cooperations and contributions and embracing of so many people. I may have been in a slightly different situation than others and that helped, but if any of the others - primarily you guys and gals - had said no, or did not recognize the possibility of this succeeding on such an unprecedented scale - I would be writing about something else. <the entire forum sighs a breath of relief. he has posted a lot lately> The golden retriever is resting peacefully. SO... we are at 225 and waiting for those who said that they would be ordering at the last minute.

Guys, I just want to express my sincere appreciation for the outpouring of support for this venture. Peter has put forth a lot of his personal time and effort to make this happen and has chosen to return any profits back to the forum in the form of prizes to support future contests. He is one of the most humble, generous, genuinely great people that I know. A special thanks to Peter for making this happen on behalf of the forum and its members. What a fantastic expression of support for the forum from those who purchased these unique and exclusive systainers. I hope you enjoy them and get great value out of adding them to your stack. Shane

hi peter.
sorry to hear about your dog. i hope he's not in too much pain.
you have done a tremendous job organising the fogtainers. i would love to support the fog by purchasing one but the recession has hit just as hard down here too. i do not have any disposable income whatsoever at the moment.
once again, congratulations on a stellar job bringing this to the fog members. it is greatly appreciated even from someone who cannot afford to purchase one right now.
regards, justin.

Justin,
Thank you for your kind words. The economy has played a negative role in so many lives here. Mine included.
Your post is a perfect example of what a success this has been, in my opinion. This wasn't in my mind just about selling blue plastic boxes. It was also about raising the awareness that this is a very unique place in cyberspace. One that we have each contributed to in our own way. One in which we share what we can and gleen what we can. Getting guys in S.A. and the UK working together to develop an idea and then getting a bunch of others to make a decision and then have another guy suggest that we make it happen, and then it does - how great!
You my friend have contributed so much in the past and just did again!
When this project ends, I will not own a FOGtainer. I would ruin it. I am even giving away the prototype. But I will have a smile on my face brought on by the comments such as yours.
Peter
