One is the loneliest number - especially to a Fogtainer that is used to being part of the system.  Heck, they are designed to hang out with each other.

Classified:  One lonely Fogtainer looking for someone with same.  I enjoy noise but don't tolerate dust.  Extremely organized but kinda square.  Born in Germany but now living in the US.  Willing to travel to new home.  Seeking a long term relationship with someone who enjoys the color green.

Help the poor thing out!

one fog 4 left!

SOLD OUT!

To all of you who participated - it has been an honor to be a part of your experience.  I know it was long but hopefully the end result knocked some time off the calendar.  The participation and enthusiasm of everyone here has been an inspiration for me over the past months and I look forward to the next experience.

The last orders have been packed and paperwork / emails/ PMs sent.

One last thing.  Now that the hard stuff is over.  A toast and a thank you to all those away from the forum / behind the scenes who helped make this happen:

Christian - This would not have happened without his permission, support, and assistance
Shane - Friend, supporter, and advisor
Franck Tetreau - Tanos - Made the deal happen
Japan Woodworker - Provided first batch Systainers
Festool (Germany) - Produced, customized, handled shipping to US
Schenker, Inc - My Customs / Logistics / Import Broker
National Marking Products - The printer who overcame and came thru in the end
Nu-Line - Packing Supplies - Love their bubble wrap!
USPS - So far not one damaged / lost box

Bethany - Can't say enough
MacGyver - Unofficial mascot of the Fogtainer project.  Kept me sane during rough times.
L - Provided support and muscle.  Lived this journey every day.

So, as has been suggested:

Well jmb, if that photo means what it should, then I guess you've been knocked out of the running for the Red Lantern.  I'm still in it, though!

Any orders to Hawaii?  Have those arrived yet?

Hawaii is estimated for April 4 just you were estimated for March 31.

But others will get theirs later than you.  I think.

Seth,

To help out here, Alaska (eleven feet tall) and Hawaii are waiting even though they were shipped  quite a while ago.  The majority of the final days worth of orders shipped Saturday.  Eight Fogtainers for new owners are sitting here plus the one that I tried to use as a cooking utensil by accident (mine now).  Three of those here belong to a member that I have been trying to reach since February 4th. Scared  I am thinking about making those into a coffee table.

A very special one has yet to ship!

Sal,

If you are waiting for the brown truck to deliver your Fogtainers, I have bad news.  They refuse to.  Scared  But the US Postal Service will be delivering later this week! Poke

Hope that you enjoy them!

According to a 4am email I see just now, my Fogtainers are at the Post Office!

That's only 85 miles away - almost here!  Yippee.

Our mail comes on Tuesday, so I should get at least some of them today.  But our carrier's vehicle is pretty small - definitely don't think eleven feet of 'tainers are going to fit.....

Seth

I don't mind laughing at myself! Big Grin  I certainly have documented that having a whole bunch of blue boxes around kinda impacted the living space in my modest home.  One of the parts of this project that really ate up time was the installation of labels on about 200 of the Fogtainers.  One of the best places for lighting in my house at night is the kitchen.  When counter space got tight, I used this for supplemental space:

The light under the range hood helped out when trying to get those labels to fit.  But just leaning forward a little bit can  turn the knobs controlling the burners, and:

Not my favorite smell, but the texture is interesting.

Go ahead and laugh.  I sure did.   Embarassed Embarassed
