After purchasing two TI 15 impact drivers under the latest festool (uk)offer of free forstner bits I was surprised when the dealer said that the bits come direct from festool, is this true

I guess your only an addict if you admit to your addiction!
I only popped into my local tool shop and came out a festool nut (bloody sneaky festool)
I came out with a ts55 and guide rails.............
Oh and now the list is as follows
Kapex with ug undermount
Rotex 150 sander
Dx 93 sander
Ctl 26 dust extractor
Ctl midi dust extractor
Ti 15 impact driver x 2
C15 cordless drill x 2
Cxs cordless drill
Centrotec set
Ps 400 jigsaw
Spirit levels
Of 2200 router and copying rings
Ofk 700 edge router

A few sortainers and systainers for all other tools (non festool)
As I said I only popped in the shop
Now the wife says she is a festool widow, she says it's not normal to have a festool catalogue next to the bed and recently she checked my browser history   only to find nothing but festool and FOG...........

Paddy,

Think that will be true, the last time they did an offer similar (for Accessories Coupons) they came direct from Festool. The Zorbo bits are very good, very sharp and keep their edge

Hi

As far as I interpreted the deal the forstner bit sets are supplied with the drills by FESTOOL to the dealer? Oh gee, I'm sure (hope) it wasn't me or one of my people who told you that!

For instance we had cordless's arrive yesterday from FESTOOL and each one had a forstner bit set.

Maybe give the dealer an opportunity to check for you?

All the best

Free offer runs in february and march - as long as stock lasts. But as it's the end of march now, they might be out of stock. You can always try to contact Festool to see if they can find one somewhere.

I suggest calling them right away. In Europe, emailing with customers is not high on their list of priorities.
