Cut down some 1/2" plywood and it cut like a dream.  Same with 3/4" mdf.  Now I'm cutting 3/4" plywood and I'm burning the edges (a lot!)  and it stalls out.  Cleaned the blade several times and it looks pretty good.  What could be going on?  I know mdf dulls blades but this is ridiculous.  It's sliding fine on the rails, kerf doesn't seem to be closing up.

Sounds like you have your saw's gib adjusters may be too loose.  The gib adjusters are the green thumb wheels towards the front and rear of the left-hand side of the saw's base.  Tighten these to remove any side-to-side play, yet not so tight that they cause too much resistance when sliding your saw forward along the guide rail.

gib's are adjusted nicely so there's no play but the saw still slides easily

The resin/glue used in some ply can be quiet abrasive and hard on tooling. Just take the blade down to your local saw doctor and get it sharpened.

I had a brand new blade that only lasted one board of veneered mdf before it started burning the edge, but then I did have it mounted back to front  Big Grin

should last alot longer than 30 cuts. I can get at least 30 cuts in compact laminate and that stuff eats blades

It's possible that the saw is out of adjustment. The toe in may need to be tweaked, especially if it was dropped. The process is described in the supplemental manual on page 12, Matching the TS 55 to an Existing Guide Rail.
