It appears the Uk (Euro?) version is called a 1200/2 E EF, whereas the US is just a 1200 E EF.  So we don’t have the two different gears/torque settings.  How that translates into actual torque differences I don’t know.  The motors may be completely different?
. If you refer to a UK site, only 1 model has two speeds and it’s the 1600/2...There are two other models listed, a MX 1000 and a 1200, but neither has a two speed change/gearbox ,just a single gear.  Beats me..... [smile]

But but but Phil's video clearly shows a machine labeled 1200/2 with two speed settings....

Phil, ya can't drop a video like that and further confuse your friends across the pond.  We're confused enough as it already is.  [tongue]

We have both 1000 mixers, plain and /2, the same for the 1200, that 1600/2 andddd... wait for it... the Colossal Duo-Ruhrwerke... a DOUBLE Egg Beater Style Mixer... for a ‘mere’ 651€ to 774€...

It’s pretty obvious they take mixing properly more seriously than we do...

Drywall, paint, lighter mixtures of concrete or mortar like Tuckpointing mix... and the odd Cake... [poke] [poke]
