Has anyone come up with a good way to mark the insert containers (the red, blue, yellow ones)?  I'd like to have the labels facing up when I open the lid on the systainer.  Any thoughts on adapting something to do this job without having to modify the insert containers?
Thanks!

I cutout the label from whatever screws are in there and tape them into the interior of the box, right up near the top.
Rarely are the boxes overflowing, so the labels are pretty visible, from an angle from the front.  They are not visibile from directly overhead (i.e. if these were sitting on the floor).

I'll post pics later.

I have a dozen Stanley parts boxes you buy at Home Depot. They are the better ones with a clear plastic lid and removable boxes (with 2 different sizes)like Festool. I use a brother Ptouch and label the  top of every little bin on the side that faces me when I open it.

The Festool Sys I with the inserts look great but I have way to many tools I need to buy before spending money converting them over. I'll try and post a pic later.

I'm definitely interested in everyones pictures!

Do the trays fit perfectly in the SYS1 or do they rattle around because of the ribbing?
I looked around for diy trays, but nothing seemed ideal due to the above problem...

I also was considering the dominos systainer as I think a SYS1 will be too small for my needs.
Additionally I've seen a SYS3 (?) with 3 Stanley-Like Trays which I think may be ideal, but I haven't heard diddly about. (Good Picture Comparison)

Anyone have all 3 methods?

*Also, how do you like your label maker? I go into office depot all the time, but they've got like 20 versions and I get overwhelmed and just leave  Eek!

The Sys I Box comes with an insert/liner that the boxes sit in...

So, no, they do not rattle around.  They also come with a lid foam that prevents your stored items from getting mixed up.
