I don't stack up quite as well.  Eek!  But it is a good start.   Big Grin

For comparison, I'm 6'1" (185 cm for you metric types). I'm planning to add 3 more in about 2 weeks. I'm also planning to add systainers for my MultiMaster and an angle grinder when I get a chance. Then the stack will definitely be over my head.

Of course, I don't expect to ever catch up to you pros.  Smile

I know my stack isn't going to be the grand daddy of stacks.   But this is how I stack up. I will add a sander as soon as my Porter Cable dies.  With a Kapex coming in June (saving the overtime hours!).  I thought about using my MFT tables, but that would be cheating.

Just counted in my head from memory and got 41 Systainers and Sortainers, not counting Minis or Micros.  I don't think I missed any but......  Huh?    I added heights in from memory too, 298" tall stack  Eek! Its just a little more than I can carry in one stack but two stacks is doable   Big Grin

Definetly have more planned.

I think I have a problem.

I haven't got a ladder tall enough and I think it'd be a bit crazy to try ...

Sys5 x 1
Sys4 x 1
Sys3 x 1
Sys2 x 3
Sys1 x 2
Sys5 T-Loc x 2
Sys4 T-Loc x 3
Sys3 T-Loc x 5
Sys2 T-Loc x 6
Sys1 T-Loc x 7

Applying systainer math, this comes to 6.2475 metres (or about 20 foot 6 inches for the imperials)

A lot of what I plan to buy this year from Festool isn't systainerable (yep Mr Webster, another new word), though I'll still probably add a couple of meters of systainers - more if I buy some empty T-Locs to swap out the "originals" and store some of my "other brand" tools in them.

Really need to find some time to use some of this stuff ...  Embarassed

Maybe I'm a chance in the "home hobbyist" category  Cool

Hey honeydokreg,

I'm assuming you've ported a fair bit of non-Festool gear into your systainers ... how have you gone with secure fitting? I tried with a couple of items using the foam inserts in the original systainers and found it really annoying and fiddly (as a result I've got lots of tools in milk crates).

The tools in my truck were talking the other day.  The Dewalts, PC's, Boschs, Makitas were not happy.  They also were in the minority.  Their complaint:  They felt unused and unappreciated since the Festools moved in.  I guess the truth hurts.

I don't use anything. I just put it in. For example I have one full of clamps. Another with 4 Bosch colts just thrown in. Another with Kreg jig stuff.  Etc. I use the doctor bag from Occidential for most of my hand tools etc.

I know its not that impressive, but I've only been buying festools for just about a year so I still got plenty of catching up to do.

I had an original sys3 containing an ETS150/5 and an original sys1 containing accessories for the CT-Mini - this was up until October (4 months ago) - then things got crazy ...

I'm now up to 35 Systainers ... added 4 more since my last post in this same thread - 6.84 metres (22 feet 5 inches) ... and they call it a hobby.

... there's about another 15 feet of Festool on the short list too  Embarassed
