I bought a nice 36mm hose, and one of these to go with it:

The new Kapex KS 120 REB Set-UG

I like it very much  [thumbs up]

Yup it is always good to have an accessory for the hoses. Otherwise they just end up sitting in the box for years.  [smile]

Where are my manners:

I nearly forgot, bought another bluetooth remote too, I have a few of these now, as I have a few hoses attached to certain tools, and can’t be bothered keep changing the remote.
I did have one loose in the workshop, just to operate the extractor easily but, I put them down and forget where I put them?  [unsure]

Bought a new bandsaw too, not Festool though, so no pics  [big grin]

Diminutive additions to my Festool collection, but I acquired the Centrotec stubby drill bit set and 3/8" socket adapter.

Went to my first ever Festool Roadshow even this past Thursday near Dallas/Fort Worth.  Steve, one of the trainers was very helpful and showed me around some of the tools that I had wanted to see in person and in use for the longest time.  Anyways, I went with the intention doing some hands on research and coming home with some systainers and/or an OF1400 and LR32 set at most.  However, after getting to use the Conturo with the Vac clamps and seeing the amazing results it produces, not to mention the fraction of the time it takes to produce them when compared to our iron and trim by hand methods; needless to say I was sold.

Anyways, I woke up the next morning and ordered not only the OF1400 and LR32 set, but also the Conturo delux set (MFK 700) and vac clamps.  As a small kitchen remodeler who does all our own custom cabinets, this is about to be a game changer for us quality and productivity wise.

Pics will be posted when everything starts trickling in later this coming week!

Welcome to the forum!

Spending time with Steve is wonderful!  He explains, he shows, he shows you stuff you wouldn't expect.  Then you go away and all that stuff soaks in.

Hope you love your new stuff!

Peter

Yesterday was an expensive day. I bought the Domino XL 700 together with a set of Dominoes. But this purchase was overtrumped by my other tool which I bought yesterday: My new girlfriend Erika.

The Erika is already 5 years old and used, but in mint condition. The previous owner only made about 5 cuts in the past 5 years.

I’m jealous, a few weeks back I was told about an Erika 85 for sale in mint condition. By time I tracked the seller down, he’d sold it the day before for £1000, it had been used for half an hour.
I honestly could of cried.
Anyway, enjoy yours!  ;)

Oh, I can feel you. 1000 Pound is a bargain. I still paid 1900 € or about 1600 Pund (2100 $). But I have been tracking the market for a good used Erika for half a year. There are always quite a few on sale, but usually on the other end of the country. This was the first one in a long time wihtin acceptable range. I didn't hesitate a second...

Just bought the Domino 700 off the recon sale. Since Im taking the architectural door class next month. I thought I might as well get this tool as its the only one they are using in the class I dont have. (Well I dont have the OF1400 but I got the OF2200 which will give me what I want).

I wasnt really ready to buy it yet, But couldnt beat the price. Now I got to get some dominos and maybe the conector set.

@Cheese I love those connectors, we’ve been doing some exhibition stands just lately. Making them in the workshop, and assembling on site, they’ve been a god-send.

Last week was Festool time!
I bought a CT26, Rotex 150 and a Domino XL700.

I already had a TS55. I might have to go for a Ts75. Once I have that I take a break from buying more Festool:)

I finally bit the bullet and added a CS70-EBG Set to the collection, and the ISC-240 insulation saw set.

Hoping the ISC will replace the bread knife [tongue]

I'm new to the Festool family and picked up my first today - a CT36 extractor. It's the old style but it was 20% off at L.V. so I am very happy! I've been using my big Laguna dust extractor but sizing down from a 4" hose to a small hose isn't working that well due to vacuum losses. My doctor is also does woodworking as a hobby and he has stressed the importance of dust collection to me. So, the Festool was high on my list and I had been watching out for a deal for sometime now. The acceptance factor by my S.O. was high for safety reasons - just like my Sawstop. :)

Next up is a TS55 and a Rotex 150. I've already built my Stanton workbench to use with them. :)
