Well I have a very special pair of official Festool safety glasses!!! What makes them special is they were aligned by the Lebanon service department, buffed and polished by Brian - the Sedge, calibrated by Steve, autographed with the new super secret engraving tool - SSEG-1 - by Christian and packaged by Shane! I figure they must be worth about $450 a pair on EBay but might give fellow Foggers a crack at them first.

It's a box for an actual domino game. This was given away for promotion when they first introduced the Festool Domino. The whole domino name Festool uses comes from the game.

Very cool.

So did it actually come with game dominos in it? Are Footstools missing?

I took it to the local watch repair to buy a battery, man offered to switch it out for me- when he popped the cover he just chuckled- and said ''if i got (the watch) to last a year, I was lucky'.
The battery was not the problem.

With the Festool covered stein I won in the drawing following the In-Tough of Palm Desert class, I now have a matched set of those. I still have a vintage 2006 Festool shirt with is now termed "The Instructor Shirt." Participants in the Palm Desert class were given the newish Festool Kapex shirts. These are neat. A friend gave me a keen Festool Specialist work apron which should be sold widely, it is that useful. I bought my Festool folding rule from Eagle Tool. It is handy because it has both metric and Imperial scales. My Festool hat was a drawing prize at a dealer event several years ago.

Festool towel, 2 different Festool swiss army knives, swiss army credit card knife, snap away blade utility knife, 1996 special edition systainer, 2008 key fob with Festool on one side and the OF2200 on the other, European Festool pencils, pens (rare here in the US unless you attend a class and swipe some, domino keychain, Festool "scan me" tshirt, beer stein (with cover),  large Festool window decal with TS55 and C12, another large Festool decal without the tools, and an exclusive one of a kind mini Fogtainer.

Guess that does it.  Most of these were given to me by FOG members.  Every time I open that systainer I smile.

I've owned a few Festool promotional items over the years, but ended up selling most, including the die-cast mini, pen knife, etc.

I still have a baseball cap, or what Festool call a golf cap (what's the difference?) which I do wear sometimes, and some Festool pencils, both carpenters & round.

Here's a pic of a couple of rare items:

The doormat is probably very rare in the UK, as I don't think there are many people stupid enough to pay a fortune in shipping costs for a doormat.... [embarassed]

I also got a Festool USA long-sleeved t-shirt at the same time, but I don't have a pic of that (though I am wearing it as I type this!).

The Black limited edition systainer is one I bought fairly recently. Here's a couple of other 'rare' systainers, a FOGsys mini, and a T-loc micro (though not in Festool colours):

Festoolian since February 2006

TS55R EBQ saw - CTL26 - CTL Mini - OF1400EBQ router - KS120 Kapex SCMS - ETS150/3 sander - RO90 sander - DF500 Domino - PDC18/4 drill - PSC420 jigsaw - OFK500 trimmer

Wish list (in no particular order!): Anything not listed above....

I had a PM asking me about the pencils, so here you go:

The carpenter's pencils are oval in section rather than rectangular. They're also very long (for a pencil).

I have a couple t-shirts and a couple hats.  I like the ones that were black, before Festool US switched to dark blue.

Way back in early 2006, a month of so after I bought my first TS55 with a CT22, Eagle Tools of Los Angeles hosted a Demo Day for Festool. While I am not 199% sure the new product was the larger planer, I remember the hospitality and continuing friendships made that day. I also won a lottery and was presented with a Festool polo shirt. That is one of my favorite promotional shirts, largely because subsequently that style has been reserved as the Trainer's Uniform Shirt, as distinctive to those participating in Festool Classes as the USMC DI Cover all us Jar Heady respect. Since I am not a Festool Trainer, I do not wear that shirt when Festool fans are around, but I do so when registering at the front desk as Sunset Station in Henderson.

The Festool promotional item I do wear a lot, especially around Festool fans, is the Woodworkers Apron given to me by a close friend. It fits as if made just for me, with convenient pockets.

I've got a bit of a feeling that i'm a little late for the drawing but figured i would still share

I know the pad, pencils, pens, ball cap, beanie, sticker and tote bag are nothing to be all that proud of (thanks connect 2013)

My real pride and joy is my banner!   Big thanks to the guys at Coastal Tool, my local dealer for hooking me up when i went to pick up my new ts55req!!

p.s.   there's a t-shirt floating around somewhere too that didn't make it into the shot

how "rare" is the toolie here in the states?    is it something worth buying if you had the chance?  and at what price if so??  i know a guy who would probably sell me his, its still in the box so im guessing he never really found a use for it and would part with it

The toolie is no longer available here although members seem to find a way to get them from Europe.  They used to go for quite a premium on Ebay.  Haven't checked in a while.  Right now based on exchange rates a toolie in the UK would cost about $34 US plus shipping to the US, etc.

Lucky you  8)

O/k - please - clue request:

What are overall dimensions?
Do any of buttons etc work?
Does 'battery end' come off?
Does that (to my eyes) mechanism work?
Can you eat any of it?
Apart from being an "objet d'art" - where might you use it?

Oh yes - any prize for getting it right?

(At first glance thought maybe a stapler, but don't see it now.)

Yes - think I was getting a bit carried away.

Like the idea of eraser.

It's all solid isn't it - no gap where the handle is.

Came in Systainer - wonder whether just chucked in, or if, very neatly fitted into a gap.
Maybe some sort of exotic Festoolian packing piece???

Richard.

(edit:  footstool posted while doing mine.  A badge - yep, now that has to be a very strong candidate.)

Not sure if this qualifies, but this ruler was given to me by my dealership owner to sweeten the deal when I purchased a ETS125 sander back in late April. And it sure has been handy.

But these are practically with me everyday. My family and I enjoy them. They are the perfect size and the perfect colors.

I looked for this clock and found one on-line. Had to order it from England.  I like it. Cost a pretty penny to get it shipped.

You mean the Toolie?
It not only has 4 hex keys but also has 3 torx, a slotted and a pozidirv key.
Although I don't like the MagicRing ball ends of the hex keys. They damage the bolts to quickly.
Will be available in the USA December 1st!

Hi Phil

I love the truck. As the steering wheel is on "our" - did you make it?

We have 2 grandsons already and 3 more will arrive in the next 6 weeks. So, I think that gran and granddad should have one for visiting children.

Do you have any plans? Do you know where the wheels came from?

Many thanks.

The wheels come from here http://hobby.uk.com/
Also provide cool service.
The steering wheel is part of a plug-it lead section. I keep away from plans and 'free style' if the cab looks correct then the rest will follow.

8 x t-shirts and 3 tops (first photo) LEV-1400, LEV-800 digital, beanie hat, 2015 calendar, tape measure, head-torch, 4 x rulers, 6 x pencils, 2 x ballpoint pens, cutter knife, 2 x safety glasses, Rotex watch with presentation tin, 2 x key-rings and a stress ball.

I bought maybe 3 of the t-shirts, both the levels, the torch and the watch, but everything else I have been given by the people I buy most of my tools from or at Festool roadshows.

Nice one. And you are right... It will probably upset a few here. ;^)

I am a hobbyists and use almost all of my tools. I really have no promo items (does a blue Festool pencil count?). I know there are plenty of "collectors" on here and I am fine with it. To each their own.

Don't know how "rare" these are but they were this years Roadshow welcoming gift if you pre-registered for a specific date/show.

I think it's great that Festool does this, not many companies do nowadays...

I still have the watch brand new in the round box that came with my Rotex many years back, I never touhed it or took it out of the case. I kept that anniversary Systainer in a closet with the watch and case in it. Not sure if I will ever use either. I might be willing to give up the Systainer to a collector that can prove to me they have all the special editions over the years and may need this for their collection.
The one who says it can't be done should avoid interrupting the person doing it.

Do we have a part number to be on the lookout for (North America)?

Part number for Europe is 201311.

Festool emailed me about the updated sanders, they emailed me about the new air-cooled batteries, they even emailed me about the limited edition power bank last year... but I had to find out about this 201311 set because YouTube put the video of @David Stanton very high on the "Up Next" list.  [blink]

I never understood why they didn't have a systainer for the MFT bits and pieces, but now they finally too. Well, I guess they got pushed a bit by the Veritas MFT clamping set  [big grin]

fished this out of my mailbox this morning. Festool had sent me a survey invite some time ago and in return, for taking part in the survey, they send this little gift - a lashing strap.

Hi,

I'm pretty amazed and very grateful for the gift I received from Festool after having some great e-mail correspondence on an entirely different matter last week.

Festool level, lunchbox, another lashing strap and post-its.

Especially happy with the level as that was this years roadshow welcome gift, and I couldn't attend the appointment I had made because of my health. So I figured no level for me. Receiving it as a surprise gift among the other goodies was awesome.

Kind regards,
Oliver
