I'am all smiles this afternoon. After two weeks, of waiting, I got notice that My Kapex is shipping So it looks like Festool is catching up on the back log. Anyone else waiting?

Apparently there was a production hold while the engineers added a feature to allow cutting snark.

Yup! I'm waiting for myself to decide if I need a Kapex or not. Just got an offer from my Festool pusher - 16% discount. And I still can't decide if I can justify the high price. Maybe I should leave the FOG forever so I don't have to read about (and drool over) that darned Kapex thing in the future...or just change hobby from woodworking to origami -sure that must be cheaper!

It was a great weekend because the item in the photo below showed up Friday at my office. Had to take it out of the box it get it home. I was driving the Leaf, my wife had the truck. Got it home and mounted the Kapex up to the UG cart and extensions. Then started making some test cuts to see what the Kapex would do. I had used the Kapex at the Las Vages traning center. But is is a whole new game when the saw is in YOUR OWN shop. So I had a great weekend Also started work on what my one grandson call his fort and the younger grandson calls his castle.
