Any chance Festool will make a 90 degree adapter for the 36mm hose so you can use it with the mini/midi while still being able to stack systainers on top without hitting or crimping the hose?

Not sure if this will work but something like this for the 36mm hose : http://www.festoolusa.com/products/dust-extractors/reducing-hose-sleeves/hose-sleeve-antistatic-angle-adapter-456806.html
Not sure if this is just a replacement for the 27mm hose since they don't have the specs for what size hose it is for...

Jim,

The part you've referenced is designed for the 27mm hose. There is no right angle for the 36mm.

OK, then add that to the wish list Smiley

I can't be the only person wanting this. Same part they make for the 27mm hose just in a 36mm size...

Thanks

If you go to the shop vac section of a big box store - Lowes if my old memory is any good - they sell an accessory that is a combo 90 degree adapter with a detachable small brush on the end. It is what I use. Think it was about $9.

I do use CT-mini with 36mm hose for house cleaning. Mini's housing hose opening is not designed for 36mm hoses, it's too small you have to squeeze hose. Another thing is that Mini's/Midi's housing is too small for keeping 36mm hoses on board. So I have to keep it off vac.

Jim,

If you search on the net, you can easily find a 2.25" 90 degree adapter,  even anti-static.

Just use this, and plug your current Festool hose into it.

I'm not finding any hits. Anyone find one at a reasonable price (with a link)?  Tongue
