"That does not stop people from complaining."

Is complaining the correct term? Maybe desire
or want or request would better describe their
request for such a tool compatible with the
power available in their country or region.

Well I suppose it is in the ears of the beholder.

When NAINA is mentioned the tone is often toward frustration rather than hope.

If they were actually complaining, then their countenance could be made glowing with a transformer.

While that is a good solution to fix the issue of power, it is not the solution that they want, and often results in a further sourness upon their countenance.

The obvious long term solution is to head to DC brushless motors. Either batteries or a transformer that goes into a DC slot from the wall.

If they can buy a similar tool that does the required task, but do it like the colour or cost, then they are truly complaining.

I wish Festool made splinter guard tape that stayed stuck to the guide rail. Makita can.

I wish Festool made upgraded routers.

It's time to update the complete line of routers. They all need LED rings, Festool should come out with the best LED lighting system made for routers with no shadow and pure white light, even dimmable on/off switching.

The turret system on OF1010 and OF 1400 leave some to be desired. The OF 1010 can use some more power too. My little DeWalt in use seems truly more powerful.

The OF 2200 plastic shroud plastic over the years became very difficult to see through, change the plastic type. Make the 2 point contact clamp a 4 point system for the attachment rods.

Heck, I prefer the OF 1010 and OF 1400 design be scrapped altogether and just make them look identical to the OF 2200. Shrunken down small OF 2200 style routers would be awesome.

I would like Festool to make a drill attachment to emulate a drill press in a portable way.  This would provide a straight drill platform with repeatable drilling.  I use my router regularly, but would like a simple mobile solution.

Do you mean something like this…?
https://www.festool.co.uk/products/timber-construction/drilling-guide-systems/768768---gd-320#Overview
I think they are intended, principally, for long holes in timber construction work; though there are much smaller (and less expensive) items (from Wolfcraft, for example) which work in the same way.
Or are you thinking of something different?

I posted this on our Facebook fan page recently and there were a lot of responses.

Obviously, we've had many threads here with various "wishes" but in a word or two, let's hear what you wish Festool would offer that it currently doesn't.

PS - Please keep it clean.  [embarassed]

On the MFT tables, the same registered stops in place on the long sides, put in on the short sides.  I currently use a combo square (and longer track of course) to align the track supports, but built in stops would be quicker.

Like others on the FOG group, registration jigs (short and long) and matching head for the Domino's like the other German 'Brand X' has (ya know, the guys with the red colored logo), which would make working with wider boards a lot easier.

You can order extra Festool Feather keys for the MFT/3 extrusions.  That is what the part is called.

a taller hose garage for the CT SYS vacuum. is anyone else with me on this? it could have been 1-2"  taller so the hose will fit easily instead OF SHOVING IT INTO THE CORNERS TO GET IT ALL TO FIT. I am seriously thinking of getting a systainer 2 to handle the hose and on board accessories ( which you have to unplug the hose to get access to)

Yes, a SYS2 sized hose garage would be nice, as an option.

I've been asking for years for Robertson/Square Drive support from Festool for drill/drivers. I have the Snappy Centrotec square drive bits, but they are not as good quality as I would prefer.

Unfortunately, the square drive bits were only offered in a limited edition installer set for the USA that was offered 2-3 years ago. They are also not available as replacement parts.  [mad] [mad]

I've been asking for them for about ten years. I made a few of my own that fit in the Centrotec setup by chucking in my lathe and employing some files and about a year ago bought the Snappy bits that are designed for Centrotec. The last answer I got was "...we can't get them with the quality we want..." (paraphrased) which makes no sense to me. I've had plenty of great quality  1/4" "standard" bits over the years! Oh well...all I can do is ask. And ask again.  ;)

I wish Festool made a 12 inch compound mitre saw. This is probably the most dust creating tool in my shop. I like the way the 10 inch one works, and would buy it if it could cut a table leg!

A handsaw that cuts the exact width as a ts55. I had to finish some angled plunge cuts into a corner and the thin blade on my pull saw likes to go off on it's own course. Bonus points if it cuts on the pull stroke and fits in the systainer. limited edition is fine.

Ts 55, Ts 75, of 1010, lr 32, mft, mfs 700, RO 150 x2 + paper asort, RO 90 + paper asort, pro 5, df 500 + dom asort, hl 850 e, ti 15, cxs, centrotec set, ct48, ct sys, vac sys, 32;55x2;118 tracks, a stack of sys and an og festool first aid kit. Kapex

I have had to tackle similar challenges.

Get a small Japanese pull saw. I use the cheap and cheerful ones made by Irwin. You can follow either edge of a kerf line very easily. I am sure that I have shown this in some of my videos but have not a clue which ones.
