How about a "Domino Table" similar to the Kreg Foreman? I think that it would save us a lot of time when doing repetitive work like face frames.

Festool design team : I would be very happy to have the first table once you have a marketable product. For free, of course. [emoji16]

An FS 1400 rail bag that is as nice, stiff & padded as the FSK rail bags. The current bag is only good for preventing scratches!? Doesn't stop the ends denting when someone plonks your bag down a bit too hard on a concrete floor..

A smooth running sabre saw. Everyone I have had, have vibrated and shaked so much that a straight cut is a real challenge

I wish Festool made a Systainer that is strong enough to stand on. I have an old Rubbermaid that I can stand on.

I just bought a systainer mini 3 TL for my 11 month old son. IT will be his first toolbox. I just wish Festool made tool set for kids, so I didn't need to poison my son with bad taste by buying Bosch!

SYS-5 with MFT lid, I have 3 and I stand on mine regularly. Saves me bringing a ladder...

The first company that makes an hkc type saw that works on my festool tracks as well (obviously they would have to mirror the FSK rails) I am going to sell mine and get it. I love the HKC saw except the blade is on the wrong side.

John5, the HKC does work with the standard Festool tracks.  You may have to adjust the blade offset to match the TSs but other wise it is made to use either style track.

A much longer fence for the MFT/3.

You can attach the left side kapex extension to the mft. You might have to cut a little off of the mft fence to get them to mate seamlessly.

...sander with an intelligent sensor Velcro pad - this would detect when you have not fitted an abrasive sheet and will prevent the machine starting and you wondering why the surface is taking so much effort to sand...

Cheers

PS please do not ask how many replacement Velcro pads I have now purchased :-[

So I followed exactly the instruction and yes Festool should not bother making a longer fence for the MFT/3... Thanks

Any of a hundred odd suggestions raised on here every year all of which follow the general idea of 'if this is a system why do I get to this part in the process and then have to resort to (bosch/dewalt/mafell/makita/other/noname) just to finish'?

The list is horrendous from systainer inserts missing places for very obvious items (CXS no attic lid ... REALLY?) or a huge multitude of bits that just don't exist in centrotec - spade bits - pilot bits below 3mm - hinge guide bits - a range of countersink bits with adjustable stops TC cutters and no marr rings - auger bits etc etc And yes I have many of these from 3rd parties trend (snappy) axsminster fisch but it is astounding that Festool develop a format with all the costs associated with that, make the case for it's superiority, and then undermine any possibility of it's success by not presenting a multitude of bits they could make yet more profit from!!!

And that's not to mention spare components and two new systainers designed to take two kits of bits say all the cabinetry related or a whole series of specialist sets VDE for example? It's not like wera and fisch don't make any of this already!

Their amazingly unteutonic lack of attention to detail is staggering and undermines the very essence of the 'system' they themselves don't really seem to understand. Anyway rant over... b r e a t h e : [big grin]

A hinge that fits a mortise that can be bored by the Domino, like the Lamello hinges that fit in the mortises cut by their biscuit joiner.  Thank you.

Regards,

John

Domino hinges, I like that idea.

The system is already to big and unmanageable to even think of adding more to it.
